Sunday Evening - Curupira Campfire

It was their last night in the cabins.  It was also raining.  But Katara refused to let that stop her from trying to roast marshmallows one more time.

So any visitors to the Curupira campfire would find a merrily crackling fire, s'mores makings, and a strangely dry patch of ground around the fire.

Also a waterbender who was concentrating a lot on keeping that area dry.

Molly started to do just that, setting up two sticks so that she could roast one for Katara as well.

"I don't want to go back to the dorms tomorrow," she said with a pout.

"Me neither," she agreed. "I like Chad and all, but the cabins are so much more fun! And we have the best cabin ever."

"We do!" Molly agreed. "I hope... oh, shoot. I was going to say that I hope we get to come back like we did last year, but I won't be here."

Katara frowned. "It won't be the same without you! Not at all."

"It's only for a few weeks!" Molly said, feeling incredibly guilty. "I promise that I will be coming back. It's not like I'm going home or anything."

"I know!" Katara said. "Don't feel badly! We'll miss you, but I can send you a letter through the Post Office and you'll be back." She nodded.

Molly grinned. "I'd love to get a letter from you. I don't know that I've ever gotten an actual letter in the mail except for birthday cards."

"You're going to get some now," Katara said, laughing. "I'm going to make everyone right or freeze them to the wall."

Molly beamed. "Awesome!"

She nodded. "So if people complain of being really wet all the time or frozen? It totally wasn't me really." She paused. "Well, maybe if it was Zuko."

Molly chuckled. "I'll keep that in mind."

"Or if Mel writes to say she and Zuko were glitterbombed. That was definitely not me either."

Molly burst out laughing and then leaned over to whisper to Katara. "Can we do that before I leave?"

"Yes please," Katara whispered laughing. "Except it means seeing them making out again. But it needs to happen."

"We can just run away really quickly," Molly said.

"And make sure Mel doesn't have her axe scythe with her," Katara agreed.

Molly laughed. "We'd better do it in the dorms then because her scythe will have to be in the weapons locker.

"Oooh, good point," Katara said, putting her hand up for a high five. "How are you? How was flag football today?"

"I'm good! Flag football was fun today and I got to ride a horse yesterday."

"A horse?" Katara asked. "Like an ostrich horse? I didn't know those were in this world."

Molly blinked. "I know what a horse is and I know what an ostrich is, but I don't know what an ostrich horse would look like."

"It's so weird that all this world's animals are like half of the ones in my world," Katara said, laughing. "So was it fun? You did you go with?"

"Karal took me riding," Molly said. "It was a lot of fun. I'm going to give him a ride on my swoop bike later."
