Sunday Evening - Curupira Campfire

It was their last night in the cabins.  It was also raining.  But Katara refused to let that stop her from trying to roast marshmallows one more time.

So any visitors to the Curupira campfire would find a merrily crackling fire, s'mores makings, and a strangely dry patch of ground around the fire.

Also a waterbender who was concentrating a lot on keeping that area dry.

Aravis wasn't going to admit that she still didn't really understand it.

"That makes sense," she said with a little smile. "I am Aravis. Forgive me for not introducing myself sooner."

"I'm Katara," she replied, smiling back. "And no worries. We'd get around to it eventually."

"Unless we didn't, and for the remainder of our time at this school we just called each other 'hey, you,'" Aravis pointed out, her smile broadening.

She laughed. "We could do that anyway," Katara said. "And tell everyone that we don't know who that strange girl is."

"And act as though other people are crazy when they notice we've introduced ourselves dozens of times," Aravis agreed with a laugh.

"Exactly! We could convince them all they're insane."

"Probably wouldn't be too far off the mark with most."

"That's a fantastic point," Katara agreed. "So it wouldn't be hard to do at all."
