Sunday Evening - Curupira Campfire

It was their last night in the cabins.  It was also raining.  But Katara refused to let that stop her from trying to roast marshmallows one more time.

So any visitors to the Curupira campfire would find a merrily crackling fire, s'mores makings, and a strangely dry patch of ground around the fire.

Also a waterbender who was concentrating a lot on keeping that area dry.

"I'm not sure I know what that is," Jaina said, curious.

"It's a sword with a curved blade," she said, making a crescent shape in the air. "It was my brother's and is the preferred weapon of my people."

"You know, it's not like we're going to use our weapons to chop through everything," said Jaina, who didn't know any better.

"I got to take mine out on patrol last night!" Aravis told her happily. "I didn't cut anything but it was very nice to have the weight at my hip."

Jaina grinned back at her. "I got to get some practice in last week. It was just good to have it, even if it wasn't a real fight. I definitely get it."

"I hope to improve over the course of my time here," Aravis said. "I am to show it to Luke tomorrow. He is showing me his light sword!"

"Are you getting a demonstration?" she wondered.

"I should hope so," Aravis said. "What good is a blade of energy if you don't show it off?"

"True," she said with a smile. "He's good with it, so you should get a good show out of it."

"I should like to see yours sometime, as well," Aravis said with a smile. "We can compare."

"Sure," she said. "Plus, more time with weapons. That's a good thing."

"Always a good thing, yes," Aravis agreed.
