Surprisingly, Johnny was in a pretty good mood tonight. His day went rather well despite yesterday and his run in with Dick. That sucked and he knew he should apologize. He would just do it later when he was feeling like it. 

Turtle though, man that girl just needed a good turn over his knee and whacked a couple good times on her ass. She was far too uppity for her own good and his shin was sporting an awesome sized bruise because of it.

Right now he leaned down in front if the TV, trying to get the fuzziness of it to go away. He popped the top with his hand. "Come on!"

Haku smiled and nodded to Molly, having seen her in class and on the fieldtrip this weekend. "Molly right?" He smiled.

Molly smiled back. "Yes, and you're... Haku?"

"Yes, I think we have class together, or at least had." Haku sat down in one of the chairs in the common room. "Did you have fun this weekend?"

Molly nodded. "A lot! I got hit a lot during paintball, but it was still tons of fun and I liked the stuff we learned on Sunday. What about you?"

"I got hit a few times, but it's because I wasn't paying attention. I hate to admit that Deadpool got me a few times." Haku paused and tucked his feet under him in the chair. "I really liked the fire works! I've always wanted to make some, and I've known how to make exploding tags since I was much younger."

"Oooo! Really?" Molly said. "Those tags are fun! I'm still not sure if it is something I'd be able to do on my own though. I was a bit confused."

"It takes practise, especially if you're not used to chakra. I've grown up with it, so it's as easy as walking now, but when I was first starting I had a lot of mess ups, either putting to much chakra, or getting the design wrong."

Haku blushed slightly and tucked some of his long hair behind his ear. There seemed to still be a little bit of purple paint right near his neck. "I've gotten a bit better now."

"You still have paint on you," Molly said with a teasing grin and pointed to where it was on her own neck.

"Are the tags useful when you're fighting?" Molly didn't think about what an odd question this might be if Haku was one of those students who didn't come from a background in fighting. "I mean, obviously they'd be a distraction, but how to you get your enemy to set them off without setting them off yourself?"

Haku blinked abd moved to wipe at his neck where Molly indicated. "Ugh, I'll have to try and get that tonight," he frowned, concentrating on where the paint spot was to try and wipe it off.

"And yes they are really useful! It's like laying any trap, you just have to know where they are. I typically don't set a trigger for them at first. I'll place them on someone or somewhere, watch them and then set the jutsu to trigger them when the moments right. It also makes them easier to store that way."

"Oh! That would be handy," Molly said. She might have to look into those tags as something more than just a prank thing.

She grinned at Haku. "So, how has your first term at Fandom gone? Are you adjusting okay?"

"They are, I have some in my room if you ever need any. Just need to have something put into them," Haku offered. "It's gone really well. I've enjoyed it a lot and with all the camping I'm not nearly as homesick as I thought I would be. Have you been here for a while then Molly?"

Molly nodded. "I've been here over a year now," she said. "And I never thought I'd stay this long."

"Really? I'm really liking it. I feel horrible saying that I almost don't want to go home. But I suppose that sounds kind of odd to say that Fandom is less dangerous than at home?"

Molly shook her head emphatically. "Not at all!" she insisted. "When I first got here, it was almost like a vacation compared to some of the stuff I did back home. I totally understand what you mean." She looked at Haku with a curious expression. "What is home like for you?"

Haku took a deep, thoughtful breath. "On the run constantly. Never knowing if when you go to sleep if you'll wake up again because the people hunting you have finally caught up or not. Taking the odd, dangerous jobs that no one else will do because you need the money."

The boy shrugged and pulled his hair back. "But that happens a lot with ninja who leave their villages."

"Were you alone?" Molly asked. It sounded sad. She had been in hiding at home, but at least she'd had her friends and they'd had their parents' hideout to stay in.

"No, I had Zabuza to protect me. He's been with me for most of my life and took me in of the street when I was little." Haku smiled sweetly thinking of him. "He's also the one who made me come to school."

"Do you miss him very much?" Molly asked. "I sometimes miss my friends from home, but I can call them. Will you be able to go home for a visit at all?"

"All the time. I care for him a lot," Haku admitted. "I want to go home, but I don't know where I'd find him. He and I had to be on the move constantly or be caught. I'd be worried if he stayed in once place to long."
