3rd Floor Common Room - Monday evening

Surprisingly, Johnny was in a pretty good mood tonight. His day went rather well despite yesterday and his run in with Dick. That sucked and he knew he should apologize. He would just do it later when he was feeling like it. 

Turtle though, man that girl just needed a good turn over his knee and whacked a couple good times on her ass. She was far too uppity for her own good and his shin was sporting an awesome sized bruise because of it.

Right now he leaned down in front if the TV, trying to get the fuzziness of it to go away. He popped the top with his hand. "Come on!"

Molly shook her head. "Nope. My eyes glow pink and that's about it."

"Ooh, pink. That's cool. So can you like pick me up and spin me around the room?"

"Easily," Molly said, eating a handful of popcorn.

"Hu-huh," Johnny said, so not going to ask her to do it.

He waited only a couple beats and that was hard to do.

"So, like, will you?"

Molly gave Johnny a look like he was nuts and took another handful of popcorn. "No! I came here to watch TV, not give you a ride."

He probably was nuts yes. But is still sounded like fun. "Some other time then? Cause that would be really cool. And you know, if you wouldn't burn up and stuff, I would totally take you for a ride in the sky."

Molly giggled. "Maybe I could find a fireproof suit or something," she said. "Wouldn't be quite the same though."

"No, and it wouldn't work. I would melt the firesuit unless it was made like mine, and then it still wouldn't work for you, Molly. Hmm. Well, I guess we will just have to settle on you giving me rides." He gave her a winning smile.

Molly rolled her eyes. "Only if I feel like it," she said. She probably would though.

He grinned and nudged her, "I will do something nice for you in return."

Molly gave him a suspicious look. "Like what?"

"Like I'm on the Gold Team. I'll work and practice extra hard to see that we win."

Molly gave him a look. "I just cheer for the gold team. If you don't work hard, it'll be John that is upset with you, not me."

"But if we were winning, you would be ecstatic right? And happy for John? And then you would automatically cheer harder." Hey, he was counting on a ride here.

Molly sighed. "Don't push so hard, Storm. You'll get your ride eventually."

"All right, all right," he slouched on the couch and kicked his feet up. "So what'd we decide on?"

Molly gave him a sideways glance then sighed again. "You try extra hard in practice and I'll spin you around the room."

The sigh had him looking over at her and he grinned, "Deal."
