Surprisingly, Johnny was in a pretty good mood tonight. His day went rather well despite yesterday and his run in with Dick. That sucked and he knew he should apologize. He would just do it later when he was feeling like it. 

Turtle though, man that girl just needed a good turn over his knee and whacked a couple good times on her ass. She was far too uppity for her own good and his shin was sporting an awesome sized bruise because of it.

Right now he leaned down in front if the TV, trying to get the fuzziness of it to go away. He popped the top with his hand. "Come on!"

Katara rolled her eyes. Boys. "You're as stubborn as a firebender." She shrugged. "I can manipulate the chi of the water to make it act as I wish. Freeze it or move it about or whatever."

"Cool. Sounds neat. And how did you know I was a firebender? Never been called that before, actually, but I like the sound of it. Usually I'm just known as the Human Torch."

She stared at him, looking more defensive. "You're from the Fire Nation?" she asked, hand sliding back to her waterskin again.

"Planet Earth," Johnny said, slightly confused at her defensive look. "What?"

She eyed him, still not quite trusting. "You're not one of Zuko's men?"

He didn't look like a firebender. Maybe this was like her and Haku.

"I don't think so? That is to say that I do not know any Zuko, so probably no. Which is good, right?"

"Yes," she said with a nod. She relaxed a bit. "What type of firebending do you do then?"

"All kinds," he said and snapped his fingers, lighting up his hand.

The fire didn't startle her though the degree to which it was covering his hand made her wonder. "Do you do it by controlling your breath? And feeling the energy?" she asked. Since that was just about all she knew of firebending.

"I feel the energy, certainly, but I don't do it by any means of controlling my breath. I just do it and it happens. I can control it, very easily and very precisely. This," he said, holding up my hand, "Covers all of me and only gets hotter and hotter. It's pretty cool actually."

"Huh, that's not really firebending at all, is it," she said thoughtfully. "Is it something your people do?"

"I dunno really, just sounds like it. I can manipulate the fire but not sure if that is what you are talking about. I've never really heard the term before but thought it applied to me." He extinguished his hand. "Uh, no. Just me."
