Surprisingly, Johnny was in a pretty good mood tonight. His day went rather well despite yesterday and his run in with Dick. That sucked and he knew he should apologize. He would just do it later when he was feeling like it. 

Turtle though, man that girl just needed a good turn over his knee and whacked a couple good times on her ass. She was far too uppity for her own good and his shin was sporting an awesome sized bruise because of it.

Right now he leaned down in front if the TV, trying to get the fuzziness of it to go away. He popped the top with his hand. "Come on!"

"Yeah, right. You couldn't rock a class; much less somebody's world." Kou grinned at him.

"Sound pretty sure of that for a guy who doesn't technically know me." Johnny replied, his tone low.

"Yeah, well, I've learned how to analyze people fast. Kinda goes with the territory when you work at a bar." Kou frowned at the tv, pondering getting up and smacking it again.

"I believe you've analyzed me wrong." So he parked his butt at Caritas more than he should; not that that has anything to do with what Kou said.

"Leave it man, it'll just end up pissing you off."

"Yeah? You look like the type who'd start a couple fights. Or maybe not start them, but definitely finish them. I'd have to kick you and the other guy both out." He shrugged, looking away from the tv and back at Johnny. "I was a bouncer. Now I'm a kid again, and that's absolute bull."

After a moment, he added. "...And the tv needs to be replaced. Or something."

Johnny stared at Kou and wondered what in the hell to make of him. He was right though. Johnny wouldn't start a fight but he would certainly finish them. "So an ex-bouncer turned kid. You couldn't actually throw anyone out now then could you?"

After a moment, Johnny looked back at the TV. It serves it's purpose." When it felt like it, stupid piece of crap.

"I could." Kou shrugged. "Though now I'd probably have to kick them. Lost my guns, for the most part." He looked sadly at his arms. "I was twenty-five before Mikado got ahold of me. People always say they wish they could relive childhood, but this is ridiculous."

Grinning, Kou got up and checked the cords of the tv. "Maybe it's the channel. Stupid cable. Or is it satellite? I hate satellites."

"That's...got to suck." Yeah, that was Johnny helping the situation.

"Cable or satellite. I dunno. I think I am getting too tired to care."

"Yeah. Stupid thing." Kou aimed a kick at the tv. "Well, at least some things are looking up. I got a date this week."

"Cool. With who?"

"Mmhmm," Kou grinned, flopping back on the couch with his hands behind his head. "Haku."

Johnny sat up a little, "Really? Hope that goes well for you." he snickered, wondering if Haku told Kou that he was a boy.

"Yeah. He's cute, isn't he?" Kou looked only a little smug.

"He was cute when I thought he was a girl." Johnny said firmly. "I don't think boys are cute. Girls are cute, kittens are cute, not boys."

"Nah. He's cute," the tattooed boy insisted. "Cute in the want-to-protect-him sort of way. But with my experience, that probably means he's about eight times more likely to kick my ass ten ways from Sunday." Kou shook his head. "The more helpless they seem, the more badass they actually are."

"You think?" Johnny spared a glance at Haku. "Okay, I can go for the protective thing, just not in a cute way. No. No way." Okay maybe.

"You know, for someone who kept posturing at me yesterday, you seem really homophobic." And that amused Kou to no end. "Are you afraid that it makes you seem less 'manly'?"

"That was for class. I could handle it for class," he said and in no way was he going to touch this subject. Not after what happened earlier in Ronan's room.

"Do I look less manly, Kou?"

"No. So why are you so scared about it?" Kou raised an eyebrow at him.

"I'm not scared." Johnny answered, staring at the TV.

"So if I kissed you right now, you wouldn't freak out?" Kou asked, definitely challenging.
