Second Floor Common Room - Tuesday Morning

Meg didn't have class until Wednesday but she didn't want to get in the habit of sleeping in all day so when she woke up she got dressed and decided to check out the common room. It wasn't long before she was digging around in the kitchen and soon after she had eggs, bacon and pancakes cooking on the stove.

She had heard about the food sharing thing and was doing her best to make enough for anyone who stopped in.

[Open! There's food!]

Spotting the girl and thinking she must be new since he didn't recognize her, Adam gave her a smile and a slight wave.

Adah was feeling a slight spike of frantic panic, far too familiar a feeling these past few days, as her eyes went pointedly down, wondering if the Mad A had merely just noticed her or if he'd caught her staring, eavesdropping, butting in, but she knew she was keeping her attentions trained seemingly elsewhere. She had too much experience in this sort of thing to suddenly get caught. Her eyes stayed in the corners, her head still down as she caught the slight wave, and her head nodded to acknowledge that she'd seen it, and she took another nibble of bacon with her head still down as if to cut off the continuation of any more communication, though the still occasional flitting of her eyes his way provided a conflicting body language.

Adam frowned slightly, hoping he hadn't startled her or anything like that. "You're taking Comparative Religions, right?" He'd recalled seeing her in the class, though he wasn't sure if there was someone else around that looked like her. It had happened before.

That...that was why he seemed somewhat familiar, perhaps. Adah winced slightly, realizing that she must have been too caught up in her notes with Luke to pay proper attention, and realizing that classtime was a much better place to do this rather than a common room that kept flooding intimidatingly with more people, more people, more people...

Adah gave a short, quick nod in response to the question. Maybe if he recognized her from there, he'd also recognize the fact that she didn't talk. Not if she could help it, anyway.
