Second Floor Common Room - Tuesday Morning

Meg didn't have class until Wednesday but she didn't want to get in the habit of sleeping in all day so when she woke up she got dressed and decided to check out the common room. It wasn't long before she was digging around in the kitchen and soon after she had eggs, bacon and pancakes cooking on the stove.

She had heard about the food sharing thing and was doing her best to make enough for anyone who stopped in.

"Yeah, I see." Meg was still kind of boggling. "Are there other people here that can do that sort of stuff?"

"Some can do stuff, yeah, but as far as I know I am the only one that can do what I can do. Charlie, you'll meet her sometime I'm sure, she can do things with fire too, control it with her mind. She is a super sweet girl. Then there is Liz. I haven't spoken to her at any great length but her powers are pyro derived as well. Again, not like me. There might be others I'm not familiar with yet."

"Don't feel bad; lot's of people here have no skills doing anything other than... I don't know, just being normal. And hey, Fandom has an awesome cheerleading squad. I would've pegged you for a cheerleader any day. You have any plans on trying out?"

"Actually, the new me started before I enrolled here." she said solemly. "I kind of had a rough summer."
