Fourth floor common room: Monday Evening

Karal was very deliberately spending the evening doing something just for him, something that involved no work or stress whatsoever.

He was curled in a chair in the common room, reading The Hobbit Halfling, and really getting into it. There were occasional exclamations of surprise or excitement, but they were in Karsite, so they probably sounded a little strange.

The television was on, providing some background noise, but he wasn't watching it. Didn't mean other people couldn't, however.

Luke nodded. "Chocolate too, or is that too much?"

"I think the groveling and flowers will do for Homecoming." she said. "You might want to save the chocolates for Prom."

Luke gave Meg a dippy smile. "You think we'll last to prom?"

Meg grinned. "I think so." Of course this is coming from the hopeless romantic.

"Awww," Luke said, blushing. "Thanks. I'm not sure I've quite figured out the boyfriend thing, though."
