Fourth floor common room: Monday Evening

Karal was very deliberately spending the evening doing something just for him, something that involved no work or stress whatsoever.

He was curled in a chair in the common room, reading The Hobbit Halfling, and really getting into it. There were occasional exclamations of surprise or excitement, but they were in Karsite, so they probably sounded a little strange.

The television was on, providing some background noise, but he wasn't watching it. Didn't mean other people couldn't, however.

"I was lucky enough to do so, yes," he replied, expression grateful. "Was it very bad for you?"

"Not as bad as it could've been," Adam admitted. "I walked around wearing pink and thinking my name was Joe."

"Was there a reason why you though that?" It seemed very random to Karal, and he was quite curious. "Or why you chose pink?"

"Not a particular one, no," Adam shook his head. "I had pink on because I needed to borrow clothes when I ran out of laundry. And that's all I had."

"At least it is a cheerful colour," he replied with a smile. "And you didn't do anything dreadfully embarrassing, which is definitely good!"

"It is, yes," Adam nodded, smiling. "No, no I didn't. I'm thankful for that."
