Fourth floor common room: Monday Evening

Karal was very deliberately spending the evening doing something just for him, something that involved no work or stress whatsoever.

He was curled in a chair in the common room, reading The Hobbit Halfling, and really getting into it. There were occasional exclamations of surprise or excitement, but they were in Karsite, so they probably sounded a little strange.

The television was on, providing some background noise, but he wasn't watching it. Didn't mean other people couldn't, however.

Molly nodded. "It does. I was on my way to visit you when I saw you in here."

"Would you come for a walk with me?" he asked, brushing his thumb across her knuckles. "There are some things I would like to tell you."

"I'd like that a lot," Molly said, giving his hand a squeeze.

"I'm glad." There were a lot of things he hadn't told Molly. Now, he finally felt like he could. "We could go now?"

Molly nodded. "I'm good to go now."

With a small smile, he stood, careful not to push Molly on the floor. "I will need to put my book in my room first," he said as he drew her to her feet.
