Fifth Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

"Can you hand me the ginger?" Ronan asked, as he ground some spices with a mortar and pestle. "The fresh, I mean." The fragrant smells of cooking curry were already pervading the common room, and probably making their way through the rest of the dorms. When Isabel handed over the asked-for ginger, he added some to the mixture in the mortar, and went back to grinding. "Thanks. I hope this isn't too spicy for whoever else comes along," he added.

"Oh, wow. They never said how long," Charlie said, thinking that through. "Weeiiird. They were really glad when you got back, though."

"I can imagine." Shaking his head slightly, Ronan continued, "I messaged them to let them know I was back okay, and a little of what happened, but... I should probably go visit them at some point. Even just for a day."

"You could get back, and only ten minutes might have gone by here," Charlie said, looking thoughtful. "And yeah, I'm sure they want to see you, after all."

Ronan shook his head. "No, I don't think so," he replied. "The time-thing was... it was an odd situation. I was from the past before, I'm just... caught up, now."

"Hunh." Charlie shook her head. "I don't know if the time travelers from the future are weirder than those from just a little while ago, but I definitely think you guys are more confusing." She cocked her head. "I'm glad you're back, even if I didn't have time to miss you."

Ronan smiled. "I'm glad to be back," he said. "There's no place quite like Fandom."
