Fifth Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

"Can you hand me the ginger?" Ronan asked, as he ground some spices with a mortar and pestle. "The fresh, I mean." The fragrant smells of cooking curry were already pervading the common room, and probably making their way through the rest of the dorms. When Isabel handed over the asked-for ginger, he added some to the mixture in the mortar, and went back to grinding. "Thanks. I hope this isn't too spicy for whoever else comes along," he added.

[OOC: Open, as common rooms are! Come have some curry. :D]

"That just means more for us? Although we might get sick of it if we're eating it all week," Isabel pointed out.

Hoshi followed her nose upstairs to the fifth floor. "Something smells good! Is there anything I can do to help?"

Meg wasn't exactly looking to cook for herself tonight so she was pleased to find people cooking on another floor.

"Hey guys." she said when she came in. "What's cooking?"

Charlie followed her nose down her hallway, and grinned. "The Nomadic Chef returns to his griddle! Or his grill. Yayyy!"

Jenny Sparks was English. Jenny was hungry.

Jenny could smell curry from a floor away.

"Food?" she asked hopefully as she entered the fifth floor common room. "Food for me?"

Johnny wandered up a few floors, following his nose and letting Savannah rest back in their room.

"Hello room full of people."

Turtle loved the air ducts in this place; she could always tell when someone was cooking on another floor, even if it was all the way on the fifth floor, as her nose discovered. "Smells good," she commented idly, the notes she was studying under her arm, glancing around to see who was collected because, well, y'know, it was the fifth floor....People, ahem, lived on the fifth floor...
