Fifth Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

"Can you hand me the ginger?" Ronan asked, as he ground some spices with a mortar and pestle. "The fresh, I mean." The fragrant smells of cooking curry were already pervading the common room, and probably making their way through the rest of the dorms. When Isabel handed over the asked-for ginger, he added some to the mixture in the mortar, and went back to grinding. "Thanks. I hope this isn't too spicy for whoever else comes along," he added.

[OOC: Open, as common rooms are! Come have some curry. :D]

"I don't know," Turtle, who was, admittedly, kind of in a mooood, wrinkled her nose and hoped she sounded more teasing than she felt. "I thought maybe I'd just sit here and look at it."

"Well, maybe a little bit of eating," Turtle said, edging a little closer with a little frown because it really did smell good, and just looking at it sounded like a crappy idea.

"I said 'I thought' and 'maybe,'" Turtle argued back simply. "Very nonconclusive terms, that would unlikely hold up in a court of law."

"Well, you're dealing with a lawyer," Turtle retorted with a bit of a smirk. "They're our lifeblood, too, and you'll agree with me that I did, in fact, say maybe and, therefor, I have not really made a decision either way on the sitting and looking issue."

"Well, it certainly isn't my fault, then, that you failed to see the statement from a more deeper side," Turtle pointed out, on the edge of a smirk herself.
