Third Floor Common Room [evening]
Evey had found her room with little difficulty, and after tossing her bag towards one of the (thank heaven) two beds, she'd memorized where she'd be returning and wandered out to see what she might find.
And naturally, the there was the common room on her floor, with a television (granted, much older than she was accustomed to, but it would do.) And where there was a television, there was news, and ways to catch up with the fact that she was twenty years in the past.
As a result, Evey was curled up on the couch, quietly flipping through channels and trying to acquaint herself with a world that seemed somewhat different from her history lessons. Perhaps her memory was just a touch fuzzy.
[open! come watch TV yay!]

Cue the blushing. "The woman you look like was a queen in our galaxy. Her costumes were...elaborate."
And it just occurred to him that someone should probably warn his father about this before he ran into Evey in a hallway and his head spun completely around.

"She was a queen?" Luke repeated. Because that was the weird part, yes, Luke.

He smiled. "Artoo's not a student, by the way."

"He's an astromech droid," Luke said, smiling. "Um, he helps fly starfighters generally, but around here he also thinks he needs to keep me out of trouble."
Artoo let out a long, if incomprehensible, rant about how true that was of all Skywalkers.
Luke ignored it.

"Very interesting," Luke repeated. "The teacher's my father."

"...oh. I'm -- oh. I'm so sorry. I mean, he said he's got a good heart, too."
