Okay, so How to Be Cool Class was going to be...trying.

But that didn't matter to Luke because today there was snow!

He'd spent much of the break in Connecticut, which was why he knew the most appropriate thing to do when he went back outside (bundled beyond all reason because when it came down to it, he was still from Tatooine) was to fall backwards and make snow angels.

The giggling part was completely voluntarily.

"I'm doomed," he said cheerfully. "Completely doomed. Will you tell me what a snow angel is?"

"Sure," Luke said, standing up and brushing the snow off of his back. "You take a patch of snow and fall backwards like this--" he demonstrated, "and then you flail around with your arms and legs," which he also did, "and when you stand back up you have an imprint of a being with silly sleeves wearing robes, which is apparently what angels wear."

Karal stood, giving a quick shake to shed the snow, and looked down at himself - at his robes specifically - and started to laugh again. "I think I could just fall backwards. I've already got the robes, and my sleeves are a bit silly."

"I'm not calling you 'angel,'" Luke teased.

"Awwww." Karal made a sad face, then pivoted and fell back into a clean spot, moving his arms and legs to make an angel.

Luke grinned over at him, then helpfully sprinkled a handful of snow on Karal's head.

"Hey!" Karal batted at the snow and squirmed away, picking up a handful and tossing it at Luke. "No decorating me."

"You've very decoratable," Luke said. "And that's totally a word."

It wasn't.

Karal frowned. "That's not a word," he said, then tossed a handful of snow at him.

"Sure it is," Luke said, tossing snow back.

"It really isn't," he laughed, dodging the snow and scrambling to his feet.

Which meant he could try and drop a handful right on Luke's head.

"That wasn't very nice," Luke informed him as the snow dripped onto his eyelashes.

"I was just decorating you," he said innocently and did it again.

"You're not that funny," Luke said. "Just so you know."
