5th floor common room, Friday Night

Romeo Montague had had a strange day in a strange week of what had been a pretty strange year.
Inspired by an episode of Vanessa Saturn, he decided a drinking game was in order. Specifically "I Never." And so invitations, written in a slightly florid hand, were slipped under dorm room doors -- some of new friends, some belonging to complete strangers.

There was a stash of booze set up under the coffee table, and Romeo sipped a rum-and-cider as he waited to see if anyone would actually show up.

[OOC: Fair warning per the admins -- this is a high school. You get punk in drublic, or the converse, you might get punished. So ... don't get caught?]

"Anythin' happen to you yet?" she asked.

"A few things. I forgot who I was once, was twenty years older for a weekend," And, no, she wasn't going to go into that. "And a vampire tried to kill me."

She didn't look to phased by this.

Amber's jaw dropped.

"Oh, it's fine," she said, tilting her head up so Amber could see her bite-free neck. "My friend's boyfriend is half-angel so he healed me up just fine. I mean, it hurt a lot when it happened of course but someone saved me in time."

Meg really needed to thank Mel for that one of these days.

"So you didn't change into a vampire?" Wasn't that stuff that happened on TV? "You were like, almost 40 once?"

"I actually think changing into a vampire is more involved than just biting people. I'm not entirely sure about the whole thing. My boyfriend knows about that stuff, I'd have to ask him," she said. "And, yeah, I was 38 for a weekend. It was weird. Luckily most of the Fandom weirdness doesn't last long."

"I'm guessing the whole dead from a vampire bite thing would have lasted though," she added after a moment's pause.

"They say vampires are romantic," she shook her head. "I don't see that. Unless the one that got you was and you just told him no thanks and he took it the wrong way?" Amber wasn't sure about this whole Fandom weirness stuff. Personally, she'd like to meet a vampire. But only if it was a nice one.

"Ah, no, this one was just hungry," she said. She had no idea if Angel was a romantic or not. She guessed not, since he was dating Logan. He must be a glutton for punishment, in that case.

"Ew." Amber said. It was the only logical thing she could come up with at hearing that.

"So, drinking games. I'm not a drinker. You?"

"I'm not much of one, no," she said. "I'm usually my friend's designated driver."

"I've steered my ma around before, but that's about it," she grinned. "Ma does like her beer."

"So do my friends," Meg said, sharing a knowing grin.

Amber grinned too. "It's been nice gettin' to talk to you, Meg."
