Second Floor Common Room - Saturday Morning

Dick had insisted getting a piggyback ride instead of walking the ten feet it took to get to the common room. It was way too early for Meg to say no to people, especially kids.

"Go watch TV. Be good. Don't ask anybody that comes in to play doctor with you," Meg said. She had fallen for the doctor thing before when they were kids. Twice.

After making sure that Dick had found some cartoons to watch, Meg went into the kitchen and got out stuff to make pancakes.

[Totally open. Go ahead, traumatize her into not having kids for a long, long time. And, yes, when she figures out that this is an island-wide thing she'll be making a lot more pancakes to accommodate]

"I wouldn't hit him if he just said he was a wuss!" Dick shouted.

"I'm not a wuss!" Johnny yelled and turned, making a tiny fist so he could punch Dick in the arm.

"He's not a wuss! He's a hero!" That shrill four year old voice was loud.

"WUSS!" Dick shouted.

From across the room Meg's head perked up at the commotion. But she wasn't going to do anything about it just yet. She just assumed they were just being loud.

That's when Johnny drew back his fist and went to punch Dick hard, in the arm.

Savannah balanced on the back of the couch, but she wasn't seated firmly. However when Johnny hit Dick, she let go of the couch with one of her hands and started a spell.

No one was allowed to be mean to her hero.

"Ow!" Nobody hit Dick Casablancas and got away with it. He punched Johnny in the arm as hard as he could.

He had no idea what Savannah was doing. He just assumed she was a crazy person.

"Ow!" Johnny grabbed his arm where Dick hit him, then he totally moved to pounce on him.

Oh that was it.

Savannah threw an ice spell at Dick... but as she did that, she fell off the back of the couch.

"OW!"

That got Meg's attention. She was over to the three kids in a flash looking very displeased. She also wondered why Dick looked like he'd been playing in the snow.

"What's going on here?" she asked.

Johnny jumped back in a hurry at hearing Meg.

"Nothing!" He smiled, trying to look cute.

"S'vannah fell," he said then looked at Dick. "He did it."

Savannah was trying to be a big girl and not cry in front of Johnny, but the fall had hurt.

"He called Johnny names," she sniffled.

"Johnny hit me first!" Dick shouted, pointing at his red arm. "He's a jerkface!"

And that would be Dick trying to go after Johnny again.

"Alright, that's it!" Meg shouted. "Time out, all three of you."

She picked Dick up easily with one arm and reached down to try to pick up Johnny with the other.

Meg was good at this picking up thing. But even held in her arm, Johnny glared over at Dick. "You're the biggest jerkface ever!"

"You's can't take him Meg. We's getting married and Dick is a meanie head!"

"You can get married after time-out. You're coming too, Savannah," Meg said. She wasn't going to argue with the fact that Dick was a meanie head or a jerkface because both were true.
