Dorm Grounds [all afternoon]

After a bath (Anakin's idea) and a stop to wrap Luke completely in bubble wrap (Luke's idea, but Anakin wasn't exactly objecting after watching Luke jump off his bed, his desk, the top landing of the stairs, and the kitchen table), Luke and Anakin were now out in front of the dorms.

Luke yanked on Anakin's hand. "X-Wing, Daddy!" he demanded.

"Very well," Anakin said, laying down on the ground. "Arms out," he said.

Giggling, Luke putting his arms out straight as Anakin balanced Luke over his head.

"Now the other part," Luke demanded, looking down at him and making starfighter noises.

Anakin grinned up at him, then reached into the Force and pushed Luke straight into the air, where he flew to just about level with the tree tops.

Luke shrieked with glee as he was safely caught. "AGAIN!"

Andrew had intended to stay hidden behind a tree, but seeing the other little fly boy up in the air like cause him to forget about not being seen.

"Something like that," Anakin said, smiling over at him and catching Luke again. "Want to see it closer?"

Jaina returned from the sewers of all places, holding a box and looking dejected until she saw what was going on. Then she was watching with interest.

Luke was shrieking happily in the air again when Anakin glanced over, felt the Force-potential, and made an educated guess. "Jaina?"

John's eyes went hugely wide when he came upon this show. "Awesome!"

Anakin grinned. "Want to try it?" he asked.

When Alex saw what was going on, she gasped. "Whoa!"

Luke giggled happily and bounced on his father's chest.

Dean came wandering by after football practice. "Whoa! What is with everyone getting to fly?"

"Sure," Anakin agreed easily.

Evey wandered outside, watching in awe. "Oooh."

Anakin's heart turned over in his chest. "Hello, Evey," he said quietly.

He'd seen enough childhood holos of Padmé to recognize the face.

Karal came trudging past. He'd looked after Trenor after getting dumped in the duckpond, but he was still dripping muddy water, duckweed was still hanging from one ear, and he was wearing an expression best described as sulky.

Sokka watched in amazement. "I wanna fly! Make me fly! It's my turn! I wanna fly, Perfesser Wrong!!!"

Inara wandered out at some point and stood, watching Anakin quietly.

When Karal saw her, he tried to hide behind a tree, peeking out to make sure she hadn't seen him.

Rikku was staring. And her mouth made a perfect O. Whoa.

After Host Club, Romeo wandered back outside and watched Luke and Anakin with some envy in his eyes.

Anakin turned his head and smiled. "I don't suppose you'd be interested in giving this a try?"

Teyla didn't want to stay inside all day, so she went outside to see if anyone was playing, and gasped when she saw what was going on.

Anakin smiled at her. "Would you like a turn?"

Ino, on her way back from the park, came to a wide-eyed stop.

"They're flying!"

"They are," Anakin replied. "Would you like to fly, too?"

Not much longer after she had talked to Icheb Naomi left her room again and had wandered outside. She stopped and watched what was happening with great amazement.

"Flying..." Anemone hung back and watched enviously, wishing she could fly too. Stupid world without Trapar.

After Host Club, Reno was taking his good old time getting back to the dorms. He'd had storytime and Lego and leftover marshmallow pizza and-- Oooh.

"Just like a helichopter," he decided. So cool.

At the risk of overloading Anakin-mun's plate Billy was esploring after flag football, and stopped short when he saw what was going on.
