Dorm Grounds [all afternoon]

After a bath (Anakin's idea) and a stop to wrap Luke completely in bubble wrap (Luke's idea, but Anakin wasn't exactly objecting after watching Luke jump off his bed, his desk, the top landing of the stairs, and the kitchen table), Luke and Anakin were now out in front of the dorms.

Luke yanked on Anakin's hand. "X-Wing, Daddy!" he demanded.

"Very well," Anakin said, laying down on the ground. "Arms out," he said.

Giggling, Luke putting his arms out straight as Anakin balanced Luke over his head.

"Now the other part," Luke demanded, looking down at him and making starfighter noises.

Anakin grinned up at him, then reached into the Force and pushed Luke straight into the air, where he flew to just about level with the tree tops.

Luke shrieked with glee as he was safely caught. "AGAIN!"

"Not as good as mine," Jo insisted, since she had to. "But nearly."

"Can your daddy fly?" Luke asked.

"No, but he's the best hunter in the whole world."

"Oh, that's okay, then," Luke said. "Daddy's from a diff'rent galaxy."

He bellowed over his shoulder. "DADDY! Jo wants t' fly!"

"HI MR LUKE'S DADDY!" Jo yelled as well, since it was only polite.

"Hello, Jo," Anakin said from his spot on the grass.

"Can you make me fly, please?" Jo asked, using an inside voice since this seemed like a situation to be Very Polite in.

"Of course I can, sweetheart. Come on over here."

[wannabehunter]

"Thank you Mr Luke's Daddy!" Jo yelled, running towards him.

Anakin laughed. "Okay, now lean into my legs and make your best flying noises."

[wannabehunter]

Jo leant against him, grinning and making brrm-ing noises.

Anakin launched her high into the air.

Jo shrieked with laughter, holding her arms out like Bitter Woman.

Anakin laughed along with her. "Higher?"

"Higher!" Jo agreed. Loudly.

Anakin was starting to see what Luke liked about Jo when she wasn't tiny. He grinned and boosted her higher.

"Are you a super-hero?" Jo yelled the question down to Anakin. She felt this would be a very good job for him.

"Something like that," Anakin smiled.

Jo beamed at him. "Yay!"

"Are you going to stay up there all afternoon, Jo-bird?" he asked.

Jo seriously considered this option for a moment before shaking her head. "You might get tired if I did."

"I wouldn't get tired, but the other younglings might be a little unhappy," he admitted.

"That'd be bad, right?"

[sith_happened]

Anakin chuckled. "Only when you came back down, I imagine."

[wannabehunter]

"Wouldn't want them upset," Jo decided.
