Andromeda campfire, Monday evening

Jaina hadn't really had the concept of summer that most people had. There hadn't ever been a break from school for her, and half the time she'd be on a different planet that wouldn't even have proper summer weather. But not having classes till later in the week certainly helped with the summer feel, so that was why Jaina was starting a campfire, and wondering if she should have gotten marshmallows or something first. Oops.

"Well, I think it's out now," Jaina said. "Until he gets a new crop of students in class, anyway."

"And he stomps around and glowers?" Luke grinned. "Does that count as a hobby?"

"Considering the time it must take to perfect that? I'm thinking so," she nodded.

Luke laughed. "Now I'm imagining him at home. 'Not now, Rory, I'm practicing being scary.'"

"And I bet she rolls her eyes and goes back to her work," she said. "She seems like the type."

"She is," Luke said, grinning. "She puts up with very little of his more...dramatic...moments."

"Something tells me he needs that," she admitted.

"Not that he'd ever admit it," Luke said, "but definitely."
