Ursa Major, Sunday evening

Willow was on a couch in the common area, watching TV thanks to her computer-fu.

Currently she was watching a Bridezillas marathon.

She was a little speechless.

Bridge wanders in and glances at the TV set.

"Is this more of that reality TV stuff?" he asks.

"I'm kind of hoping it's fictional," Willow said. "Because this is like watching a horror movie in hour-long, badly narrated bursts."

"If it's that bad, why watch?" Bridge asks.

"There's a certain train-wreck fascination," Willow said. "And also the hope that if I see how this happens to others I can avoid the same fate."

"...Right," Bridge shakes his head. "We just- we don't have this sort of thing, where I'm from? So I have to admit I don't really get it."

"I don't either," Willow admitted. "Especially when it seems like they don't care about the groom nearly as much as they do things like pew bows."

"Pew bows?" Bridge echoes. "I don't even- well, okay, I can *guess* what they are from the name, but... I didn't even know they were, you know, a thing with a name."

"There's a lot here I've never heard of before," Willow admitted. "Like having a play at the start of the ceremony."

"I'd think if people wanted to see a play they would have, you know... gone to a play," this whole thing was just way out of Bridge's league.

"Me too," Willow said. "Maybe it's some religious thing we're not aware of? I mean the whole breaking the glass thing might seem weird to people who aren't Jewish."

"Oooh, good point," Bridge admits. "Maybe we should conduct a poll or something."

"Ooo - statistics!" Willow said, bouncing in her chair. Math made almost everything better.

"Of course, given that there are a number of people here who aren't even from Earth... they probably wouldn't know either," Bridge ponders. "On the other hand, they might have interesting traditions of their own to share."

"I bet a full-on Fandom wedding would be interesting," Willow said. "Combining all the traditions and everything. We can leave this one about bridezillas behind."

"It'd totally be cool," Bridge agrees.

"I wonder if anybody has a tradition of making sure everyone at the wedding has all the chocolate they could ever want?" Willow mused.

"Just for the duration of the wedding, or like, a lifetime supply?" These sorts of clarifications were important.

"I suppose it would depend on budget," Willow said.

"And whether people returned those RSVP card thingies on time," Bridge points out.

"I bet they would if they knew chocolate was involved," Willow said.

"I was about to say unless they're not fans of chocolate, but then I realised that no, they probably still would, just not for the same reasons as everyone else."

"Perhaps caramel as a non-chocolate alternative," Willow said.

Bridge nods. "It's good to be inclusive of those with different lifestyle choices," he agrees.

"Or violent and possibly deadly allergies," Willow said.

"Well, yes, but I figured that much went without saying," Bridge says. "People who just don't like chocolate... well I can't say I agree with them but there's no reason to make them feel bad about it."
