Willow was on a couch in the common area, watching TV thanks to her computer-fu.

Currently she was watching a Bridezillas marathon.

She was a little speechless.

Meg came into the cabin after spending some time at the beach. She pulled off her sunglasses and looked over at the TV.

"Ooo I love this show," Meg said. "Those chicks are crazy."

"Is it okay that I'm scared?" Willow asked. "Because these women are scaring me. Moreso than, say, hellmouths."

"You should be scared of them," she said, walking over to sit next to Willow on the couch. "I'd be worried if you weren't."

Willow moved her laptop so that Meg could have a better view. "Do you think it's a curse? Or inevitable? Because if I turn into this I think somebody's going to need to take me down and possibly try to shove my soul back into me."

Meg grinned. "I think you're going to be fine. You've got plenty of people around to keep you in check. Congratulations by the way."

Willow smiled. "Thank you. I'm starting to get a handle on the panic. Do you think it helps that my needs are few? Not that pretty dresses and ceremonies aren't nice, but really once Peter's there and we're both doing the thing with the vows I'm content."

"It definitely helps," Meg said. "It's the brides who want ice sculptures of themselves and seat covers made of Egyptian cotton that go crazy."

"Also the ones who look like they've gotten onto this show when they meant to sign up for Intervention," Willow said, watching one of the current brides with horrified fascination. "I'm pretty sure if you need that much booze to get through the planning, the upcoming wedding is not your biggest problem."

Meg laughed. "I love how they always try to deny the fact that they're completely crazy. Like it's completely normal to freak out over the wrong colored napkins."

Bridge wanders in and glances at the TV set.

"Is this more of that reality TV stuff?" he asks.

"I'm kind of hoping it's fictional," Willow said. "Because this is like watching a horror movie in hour-long, badly narrated bursts."

"If it's that bad, why watch?" Bridge asks.

"There's a certain train-wreck fascination," Willow said. "And also the hope that if I see how this happens to others I can avoid the same fate."

"...Right," Bridge shakes his head. "We just- we don't have this sort of thing, where I'm from? So I have to admit I don't really get it."

"I don't either," Willow admitted. "Especially when it seems like they don't care about the groom nearly as much as they do things like pew bows."

"Pew bows?" Bridge echoes. "I don't even- well, okay, I can *guess* what they are from the name, but... I didn't even know they were, you know, a thing with a name."

"There's a lot here I've never heard of before," Willow admitted. "Like having a play at the start of the ceremony."

Peter came into the living room and was unsurprised to see Willow on her laptop. He was surprised, however, at what she seemed to be watching. "Making plans?" he asked, grinning as he sat next to her.

"Yes. On what to avoid." Willow snuggled closer to him. "Sweetie, promise me that if I turn into this you'll lock me up in the dungeon until I'm better?"

Willow looked thoughtful, then asked, "Do we have a dungeon?"

He wrapped his arm around her, holding her close. "We do, though I shan't lock you in it. Might just try to have Su talk sense into you if I can't manage it."

Willow smiled and snuggled in more. "I swear my priorities aren't this crazy. If you and our loved ones show up that's going to cover most of my wedding needs. Push comes to shove, I really just need you. But it's nice to have a party."

"I don't think we'll have much choice in having a party," Peter said wryly. "And I want you to have whatever you want." He tilted his head at the screen. "Even if it means five thousand white...are those rats or doves?"

"She said she wanted doves," Willow said. "Me? I can't help but think of that being five thousand ways to ruin everyone's outfits. I promise I don't want doves. I do want to break the glass though."

"If they weren't very well-trained - well, at least the bride is wearing white?" Peter said, wrinkling his nose. He glanced at her. "Glass? Oh! I remember reading that. For good luck?"

Willow nodded. "Plus I know that rabbis in Narnia aren't exactly thick on the ground, but I thought maybe a few things could be done regardless? Kind of an acknowledgement?"
