Ursa Major, Sunday evening

Willow was on a couch in the common area, watching TV thanks to her computer-fu.

Currently she was watching a Bridezillas marathon.

She was a little speechless.

"Yes. On what to avoid." Willow snuggled closer to him. "Sweetie, promise me that if I turn into this you'll lock me up in the dungeon until I'm better?"

Willow looked thoughtful, then asked, "Do we have a dungeon?"

He wrapped his arm around her, holding her close. "We do, though I shan't lock you in it. Might just try to have Su talk sense into you if I can't manage it."

Willow smiled and snuggled in more. "I swear my priorities aren't this crazy. If you and our loved ones show up that's going to cover most of my wedding needs. Push comes to shove, I really just need you. But it's nice to have a party."

"I don't think we'll have much choice in having a party," Peter said wryly. "And I want you to have whatever you want." He tilted his head at the screen. "Even if it means five thousand white...are those rats or doves?"

"She said she wanted doves," Willow said. "Me? I can't help but think of that being five thousand ways to ruin everyone's outfits. I promise I don't want doves. I do want to break the glass though."

"If they weren't very well-trained - well, at least the bride is wearing white?" Peter said, wrinkling his nose. He glanced at her. "Glass? Oh! I remember reading that. For good luck?"

Willow nodded. "Plus I know that rabbis in Narnia aren't exactly thick on the ground, but I thought maybe a few things could be done regardless? Kind of an acknowledgement?"

"I think they should be," he said immediately. "Perhaps the canopy as well? And, err..." Peter had read about Jewish weddings at one point, but the memories were rather slim. "I absolutely think they should be," he said, trying to save his memory lapse.

Willow, who hadn't talked about these things with Peter before, therefore could conclude "You did research!"

She pounced on him with a kiss.

Peter grinned and kissed her back, just pulling away long enough to make sure the laptop was safe. Sometimes it was very, very good to know what made her happy.

"Okay, I love you? And I also find you really hot right now," Willow told him. "Moreso than usual."

"It's the influence of books, hm?" he teased, grinning broadly, obviously very, very pleased with himself.

"Oh yeah. Big time." Willow went to stroke a hand through his hair. "What about you? What would you like? Which, by the way, includes any preferences you may have about what I wear under the dress, just in case you were wondering."

He ducked his head, obviously considering that last for a moment. ...okay, more than a moment before pulled himself back to the original question at hand. "I want you there, my sisters and brother, our friends, whichever Narnians we need to have, and to be able to dance with you after in Cair Paravel. Everything else is negotiable."

"How very funny," Willow said. "I want those things too. And you can get back to me later about under the outfit. I can understand if it'll take some time."

Willow then looked more serious. "About your sisters? I was wondering - do you think they would want to be in the bridal party? Or would that be like a huge political catastrophe considering that they're already queens and I'm marrying into it and I can't say enough how much I don't want to cause accidental wars."

"Seems to be circular then," Peter pointed out with a warm smile.

He considered for a moment, reaching up to touch her cheek at the serious look. "You'd have to ask them, you know. But I think Lu, at least, would have Words if she didn't get to do something. It shouldn't be a etiquette issue. We don't have much etiquette surrounding weddings. That I know of. And there will be no wars. Accidental or otherwise. I'm sure of it."

"We do keep doing that circular thing," Willow said. She leaned into his touch. "I'd really like to ask them. It'd mean a lot to me if they could be bridesmaids. I just didn't know if it'd be considered an insult to ask."

Peter frowned. "My sisters better not be like that. I'll have a word with them if they act that way. They'll be your sisters too. It couldn't possibly be anything other than a compliment and kind gesture."

"Oh no! No, Su and Lu would never be so rude," Willow said. "I meant more politically. Like would everyone else think I was presumptuous."

Willow moved to try to get into Peter's lap. "I've never had sisters. Having them will be wonderful. Oh! Will they know that we're engaged or will that be a surprise? I know Lu helped with the ring, but did she know when you were going to ask me?"

Peter considered for a moment, leaning his cheek against her shoulder once she was settled. "Everyone else can shove it too," he said undiplomatically. "They knew I was going to ask you," he said. "Ed said I was mad, but that he hoped you didn't turn me down too horribly. Which is generally a good thing from him."

Willow hugged him. "That is good, for Ed. And you should be aware that I'm falling for you more and more by the second. I didn't think it was possible but you're proving me wrong."

"Perhaps that means you'll have fallen for me as much as I for you," he teased, hugging her back.

"It just means you're the bestest fiance in all the land," Willow replied.

"Except for you?" he asked. "But then you're the most beautiful too. None could compare."

"That's it, I'm stealing a kiss," Willow said, going to do just that."
