The Gym, Saturday night

Brooke had gotten to the gym early, decking the place out in blue and gold balloons and streamers just for that extra school spirit feel, and setting up the rest of the place. There were plenty of moddable snacks set up on tables, and breakfast set to be delivered in the morning, and she'd stored extra sleeping bags, pillows and blankets against the wall for people to take if they needed some. And because Brooke was Brooke, there were some extra things set up for people to enjoy, because you couldn't just leave it at that.

Once she was finished, she headed to her room long enough to get ready, then came back down to the gym in her best Clothes Over Bro's pajamas to get the party started.

There was utterly no way Ino was missing a party. Not after making Ichigo promise (silently) that he'd come.

And then after breaking up with Michael...

Well. She was here, in pajamas, and determined to have a good time.

Angela was definitely sleepover ready, and came down in her pajamas complete with a fluffy white blanket, just in case it was cold. It was a school gym, after all.

Hannibal figured that his usual attire of boxers might be pushing it so he showed up in pajama pants and a t-shirt. He could lose the shirt later. Shirts were confining at night.

She wasn't sure, really, that she was feeling up to this, but Ino-san had made her promise to at least attend for a little while yesterday and radio had told her that the people she was avoiding were off the island so...

The fact that this whole thing was girly only registered after he'd left the clinic and then it was too late not to show up. So Ichigo was there. He didn't do pajamas, however, he had sweats and a t-shirt on. That would be fine.

Ned hadn't ever been this type of sleepover before so he'd donned pajama pants and long sleeves and flip flops. He really didn't need to walk around barefoot and step on a rock.

But, he was there. Accomplishment.

She was just sorry her roommate Rikku had to miss it.

Buffy showed, looking ready for bed. And yet, if she got bored and wanted to go out on patrol instead, well, all she needed was shoes. Look, it wasn't like anyone was going to see her. When you'd probably given a few vamps a last show before they got staked due to the skirts you wore out, you lost a little bit of shame.

There were basketballs, oh, yes, out of some sudden iconage interest in the game from Chad's end of things. He looked over anyone else who might want to play in one area of the gym.

"I guess," he offered, hands on a ball, "we could just do one-on-one, or teams if we have enough interest?"

Makeovers!

No, seriously, Brooke's set up a little table where people can do makeup and facials and paint their nails and stuff. All completely moddable. Look, it's a slumber party.

Movies!

There's a small 13" TV and DVD player for people to watch movies on. Pull up a sleeping bag and enjoy.

Ned found the television fairly easy and, with staying out of the way in mind, took a seat to watch one of the movies.

The Equipment Room/I Never!

If you happen to wander in the surprisingly clean equipment room, you'll have a slightly different slumber party experience, since this is where all the alcohol is being kept! Bring your booze outside and you'll have a Brooke thwapping you.

[The room will somehow be big enough for anyone who wants to be in there all at once. We can followthis format, posting each round in a new thread and pinging off that. And who cares about order anyway?

And a warning: anyone caught drinking in a common area is subject to punishment. However, if you don't want it, you have cheerleaders who'd be willing to go to bat for you not getting into trouble.]

Brooke decided to start off, making sure her solo cup was nice and full when she started. "Ummm. I never was bitten by a gremlin."

Sometime later that night, Hannibal found a prime spot and claimed it by laying down and sighing. He wasn't about to go to sleep but a guy needed to claim some territory.
