With the Food Network on for noise and inspiration, Brooke was cooking.

No, seriously. There was food in the process of being prepared, and she was all cute in her apron and everything. The food would probably even be edible when it was all done. She'd sort of taken up the whole kitchen with stuff that needed to go into the oven, things that needed to get saran wrapped and put in the fridge, and cookies that were already done and waiting to be eaten and shared because she wasn't very good with self-control. Look, you had to get the important stuff done first.

"Oh I'm sorry." Robin sympathized. His family didn't have a lot of money either. Even his uncle occasionally found himself having to pinch every penny.
