Second Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

Firekeeper and Blind Seer wandered in to the common room at the usual time for Darkest Night, only to find... reruns. Bah.

Oh well. Just because she'd seen this episode before wasn't going to stop her from watching it again.

"Bring a type of food I like," she answered with a shrug. "I choose rabbit. No one else eat."

"Yeah, I guess we're more used to rabbits as pets or fur than food," Tony said.

"Is good," Firekeeper informed him. "Not so much as elk, but this is not right place to find such."

"Did you kill the rabbit yourself?" Tony asked.

"Of course!" She was a wolf, remember!

"Did you, uh, cook it? For class?" Tony hadn't forgotten.

"Yes. Human bellies is not same as wolf's. Is why I need to learn how to tame fire when I were small."

"That's awesome," Tony said. "That you can just go out in the woods and be like, 'okay, you're my dinner tonight.'" He pointed at an imaginary rabbit on the floor.

Firekeeper had to laugh at that image. "I think if I gived warning like that they run away!"

Tony grinned. "Well, I don't mean that literally."

Which prompted Firekeeper to hop up off the couch, go over to the kitchen area and rummage around until she found a box of cookies and a bag of potato chips. "You," she announced, pointing at each item in turn. "Is my dinner tonight." She then brought her 'catch' back to the couch with her.

Tony cracked up. "That," he said, once he caught his breath, "is the kind of hunting I can do."

"No legs for running away," she said, mock-solemnly.

"Easy prey. I like that. Also, no cooking needed," Tony said.

"Cooking is no hard!" Firekeeper insisted. Her idea of "cooking" involved "holding it over a fire for a few minutes", so maybe she wasn't the best judge of that.

"Well, I'm no good at it," Tony said. "Unless it starts out frozen and only involves a microwave."

"Then maybe we is even," Firekeeper considered. "I cannot do such."

"It's easy," Tony said. "Just read the instr- oh, right. Sorry."

"See?" Firekeeper said. "Cooking is easy! You light fire, hold meat over it. Then, is done!"

"Fair enough," Tony admitted. "Well, if you want to microwave something from the freezer, let me know. And if I ever need to cook a raw rabbit, I know who to call."
