Moving to the cabins had been entirely unexpected and somewhat distressing for Raven. She had been prepared to share her room with another, but so many people so close together was disconcerting, and it was hard to shut things out. Last night she'd felt an almost overwhelming surge of desire coming from one of the other cabins, but fortunately it abruptly stopped.

She didn't have any classes on Tuesday, and after her morning meditations, she ventured into the common room to see who else might be dwelling there.

"I thought that too. If I had known we were gonna do that I wouldn't have unpacked all my crap in the dorms." Oh yeah, Riggins. Your one bag was so hard to lug around. "Can't say I don't mind it too much though. I'm likin' the company so far."

Was he referring to her? Surely he could not be. He must think her an idiot the way she was staring and stammering. She could reach out to his mind with her powers and test his feelings, but that would be wrong.

So she just smiled and ducked her head shyly again and said, "As am I."
