FDR Campfire, Wednesday evening

Shilo had decided to celebrate a successful first day at work with a fire. So she'd found some kindling, an old newspaper, and matches, and was building a fire the same way that her father had taught her how to in the fireplace.

She didn't know if it worked the same way for a campfire, but she could only hope. Besides, it wasn't as if she was planning on this being someone's funeral pyre. Just a small campfire, and hopefully some company.

She suddenly wondered if she should have stopped for s'mores supplies.

"Oh, the opera back home was great! They used to show it on TV every night. Their soprano Blind Mag was amazing." Despite the excitement in her voice, Shilo seemed a little sad when mentioning the singer.

"Do you have any recordings of her?"

"Only one, that I saved on my wristtop. It's my favorite," Shilo replied, tapping her watch. "Would you like to hear it?"

Shilo pressed a few buttons on her watch, and the song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjZhqORQmZg) began to play. Shilo was silent the entire time, though her lips moved along with the words.

"Wow." Robin said. "That was cool. It wasn't like any other opera I've ever heard."

"Yeah, I guess that a lot has changed between now and then," Shilo said. "The fact that the music has as well doesn't really surprise me."
