Claudia needed room to stretch out as she worked on outfits for Zayne and Zack (those poor, poor souls), so the sofa was covered in orange and purple zebra print fabric which she was industriously running through the bedazzler.

The television was on too, but just as background noise.

Rose shrugged. "You're better off without him. Royal guys are usually jackasses."

"You've dated royalty?" Claudia gaped.

She shrugged again. "A lot of the kids at the boarding school I went to before were royals," Rose said. "I never dated any of them."

She was kinda a slut sometimes.

"Ohhhh," Claudia said a little loudly. "Much more effective." She winked.

Rose grinned back at her. "I don't have the blood to date 'em. The other way works out."

"Are they any good at it?" Claudia asked.

"There'd be no point if they weren't," Rose said, grinning. "Cute too though the guys around here give them a run for their money."

"I know, right?" Claudia said. "It's ridiculous how cute they are. I get nothing done in class. Especially one where they're all gonna be in spandex. Mmm."

Rose sighed heavily. "Why did everyone get these awesome classes with flirting and tight clothes? And I have to take etiquette and shit."

"Maybe it's because you're new?" Claudia replied. "I mean, I have a boyfriend and stuff, but Arthur looks good in pants."

And that was the reason of Morgana's blush then.

"I haven't met him yet," Rose said. "People keep telling me about him so I guess I'd better someday. Who's your boyfriend?"

"Priestly," Claudia said with a grin. "With the mohawk and tattoos? Sometimes there's a kilt, too."

"Ooh! I met him," she said. It had been three weeks, but it was still awesome actually knowing who someone was talking about. "You guys seem like you go together."

At least if you were going by fashion.

She grinned. "It's the fashion, huh? Sooo...who have you seen in your lame classes?"

"Totally the fashion," Rose agreed, grinning back. "Let's see. Jack's a totally cute one. And both of those brothers - Sam and his brother. And Chuck, Alex. Way too many to list." Rose had a wide enjoyment of all sorts of cute boys.

"Dean," Claudia said promptly. She followed the radio as obsessively as she read People. "Chuck's totally a player. So's Dean, who looks like Priestly but not as cute. I haven't met Alex yet." She smiled. "Arthur and Leto live across the hall from me. I'm not complaining."

"Doesn't matter if Chuck's a player as long as he's open about it," Rose said easily. "And Alex's cute and snarky and kinda an ass." She grinned. "I've met Leto. Definitely cute."

"Also a player," Claudia said with a grin. "Our boys are kind of slutty. I'm okay with that."

"Oh yeah," Rose agreed. "Means they won't decide it's Meant To Be or something and make it all awkward."

She wrinkled her nose up. "I'm so not looking to be tied down."

Claudia blushed. "Okay, so that's a little new," she admitted. "I'm not much for dating, generally, but Priestly just so interesting!"

Awwwww. "He seems like a nice guy," Rose agreed. "And there's nothing wrong with it as long as you don't, like, move to West Virginia and get married."

"I think I can happily spend my entire life not going to West Virginia," Claudia replied, making a face. "Where are you from?"

"Montana," Rose said, making a face. "Not as bad as West Virginia, but pretty boring."
