Karla put the finishing touches on the party preparation. She was glad she'd given herself extra time to set up; she'd had to do everything by hand. Even most basic Craft was beyond her, other than being able to occasionally call in or vanish small items. How the hell did landens manage? The only way she'd finished on time was because a few females kept deliberately vague to keept the option open, but to avoid modding had shown up and helped.

The only way she was ever drinking the suppression brew again was if it were a life-or-death situation. And depending on whose life-or-death it was, Karla might have to give some serious thought to the matter.

Still, it was done. The counters and scattered tables practically groaned with food and drink (the majority from T&C of course!): fruits, veggies, popcorn, chips, candy, various chocolates, soda, water, juice, Gatorade, wine, vodka, rum, various mixers...The furniture in the living room had been pushed aside for maximum space (it would still be a bit cramped, regardless) and the TV had been set up to play whatever movies folks brought along. Extra pillows and blankets were heaped everywhere, both to use as furniture and in case anyone forgot theirs. There were a few sets of hastily-acquired speakers for people to plug their pod-mabobs and empty3 players into for music, and a small section of the kitchen had been set aside off for experimenting with hair dye and make-up.

And in her room was a small pile of sacks and bags of various kind. All the better for stealing boxers with.

The cabin--and Karla--were about as ready as they'd ever be. Now just to wait for folks to show up.

Hinata had... enjoyed the last party, and hadn't been venturing out nearly often enough lately and so, when the news of the party reached her, she decided to come.

With Yei, of course, because Yei was fantastic for grabbing attention slightly away from her. "Good evening," she said, smiling. It worked as a greeting.

Raven brought a small bag with her containing the items Karla had told her to bring. She still wasn't sure entirely what to expect from the evening, but she was looking forward to it.

Kate was there, with her pillow and blanket and a bag of other stuff, but without the penguin for a change. She'd left Bobby sleeping in his little nest in her alcove.

And now she realized how few of these girls she had actually met before. Wow. She felt a little wave of shyness come over her. She pushed it away. Here's the part where you meet more people, Kate!

Yuffie had handwavingly overheard about the party and had shown up. She really couldn't remember going to an 'all girls' party before.

Considering that Emma lived in the same cabin as Karla, it would have been beyond tacky not to show up for this. She was around, totally being one of the handwavey helpers getting everything set up.

Emma was a Frost. If there was one thing she knew how to do and do well (besides manipulating people), it was hosting a party.

Tara's cabinmates had handwavily all but dragged her to the party, so there she was, dressed in loose blue pajama pants and a darker t-shirt. Her hair was up, and she munched from the bowl of popcorn as she contemplated fleeing.

Large gatherings always made her even more awkward.

Ino had considered it, considered her half finished letters, and then wandered over to the party. Pfft, thinking. She didn't want to do it.

Harper had lots of fun at the last slumber party she went to, so she definitely showed up with her pillow and sleeping bag.

Somehow, Hoshi had never been to a slumber party. (That's what happens when you are home-schooled and you only have brothers and male cousins to socialize with.)

So she did make an appearance, her overnight things tossed over her shoulder, and took a quick look around, wondering how long she should stay.

It was times like this, when Morgana was headed for a party or fun event, that she truly missed Gwen. She had a feeling that even with all the strangeness of this place, her best friend would have loved it here, and while none of the girls could replace her, Morgana was determined to get to know them better to see who might come close.

There's tons of moddable food here, with pizzas arriving later in the evening. Feel free to eat as much as you like. Want to go boxer-raiding, but it really isn't your character's thing? There's lots of liquid courage present, so have at! Also, lots of teensy umbrellas, because Karla thought they were adorable.

Make-up and Hair Dye

Thanks to Turtle's gorgeous new do and Dinah's forward thinking, there's a whole station set up by the sink to experiment with. Lots of colors, lots of items. Learn how to apply make-up yourself, or teach some poor girl how to do it right.



I should go to something like this some day.

Raven would be one of those poor girls. She had no idea how to do makeup or anything fancy with her hair despite having artfully applied eyeliner in most of her icons.
