Third Floor Common Room - LUAU

Joan and Kate had worked all afternoon to transform the common room into a tropical paradise.

Inside the door, a small table held flower leis for all of the party-goers. There were garlands hanging around the room, tabletop torches on most of the flat surfaces, and paper lanterns adding festive mood lighting.

Hawaiian music played in the background if anyone felt the urge to hula.

"Yeah, same here," Claire said. "I think I could handle being a boy better than suddenly being furry with four legs."

"Yeah, I suppose most people didn't take too kindly to those." Triela hadn't really been all that bothered by hers. The dream stuff had been freaky, but it had stopped.

Claire nodded. "Can't say I really blame them."

The little she had heard about that other Fandom had been unpleasant.

"I suppose not," Triela shrugged easily. "I'm trained and Conditioned to handle high-stress situations. It was just... I guess it was something I was prepared for."

Triela thought about that. Then she nodded. "Probably. Most people have... less specific training than I do."

"Like you, I suspect." The mun isn't actually sure Triela knows about Claire's powers. But the mun has a notoriously poor memory.
