3rd Floor Common Room [Tuesday, Late Morning]
Effy... was not generally a morning person, by any stretch of the imagination. Not unless she hadn't yet been to bed.
So it was mid-morning at least on a day she didn't have a workshop to think about, before she surfaced enough to pull on some clothes and bothered to find something to eat: toast. Well, toast and tea. A master chef in the making, this one.
The TV was on, for all she claimed she hated that sort of thing. She was watching for the mocking potential of their little dramas. That was all.

"Might consider sticking around to watch." It wasn't like she had much better to do today than melt a few braincells watching TV.

On the one hand... messy, and the other, confusing and weird but possibly entertaining.

"Still sad I didn't get to run into as many boys failing to be feminine as I could've." Couple of people at least she'd have enjoyed seeing like that.

"If I'd known, I would've joined you." Watching people be awkward was a whole entertainment source in itself.

"Weird American cereal doesn't go with this." In her experience, the stuff in those cupboards tended to be fluorescent and bizarre.

She could see how being hyped up on sugar might help a little, whatever it was. Might've chosen something stronger, herself, but each to their own.

"Bric-a-brac sort of thing?" Never could tell what you might find in somewhere like that.

"Don't think that sort of work would be for me." She'd have to sit still and take orders from people. Neither of which she was particularly good at.

"You hear of one of those, let me know."
