3rd Floor Common Room [Tuesday, Late Morning]
Effy... was not generally a morning person, by any stretch of the imagination. Not unless she hadn't yet been to bed.
So it was mid-morning at least on a day she didn't have a workshop to think about, before she surfaced enough to pull on some clothes and bothered to find something to eat: toast. Well, toast and tea. A master chef in the making, this one.
The TV was on, for all she claimed she hated that sort of thing. She was watching for the mocking potential of their little dramas. That was all.

Effy was taking it as him not giving a shit. Seemed like the safe assumption, and she balanced that plate on the arm of the couch as she moved.
It really just meant she was shifting backwards on the sofa and resting her legs over his since he was resisting just moving them. Alex could take up a lot of fucking space when he felt like it.

So, something else, then.

He'd just keep trying.

Look at that. An actual answer.

"Feels almost wrong."

And it was always better when you turned it into a bit of a challenge.

"So, what is it you think I like?" she asked.
Nice to check what track he was on for this.

"Sounds like a start."
But, yeah, still not admitting that, no.
