Fifth Floor Common Room [evening]
Sookie was sort of surprised by the very sticky rain, and that in and of itself was a mark of how long she'd been there.
And after a day spent indoors reading, she decided to do something smart about the rain. And so she wandered out to her common room, found it empty, and took to carefully positioning some buckets to hang out the windows.
Sookie, meanwhile, set to work mixing up some pancake batter. And, of course, frying up some bacon and eggs. It wasn't really breakfast-for-supper unless you had all the components.

"I can see that if you don't need it, you'd only get a few words," she agreed. "I picked mine up out of necessity. Stuck in the past for seven months, all by yourself, pretty much means you got to figure out what the locals are babbling in."
