Fifth Floor Common Room [evening]
Sookie was sort of surprised by the very sticky rain, and that in and of itself was a mark of how long she'd been there.
And after a day spent indoors reading, she decided to do something smart about the rain. And so she wandered out to her common room, found it empty, and took to carefully positioning some buckets to hang out the windows.
Sookie, meanwhile, set to work mixing up some pancake batter. And, of course, frying up some bacon and eggs. It wasn't really breakfast-for-supper unless you had all the components.

"Exactly," she said loftily. "You don't want to throw the awesome quotient out of whack, and I'd probably hate a double of me anyway." She was petty like that, yes.

"See, that's what I'm saying. With any luck, if a double shows up, they'll be evil and I can kick their ass." Assume much, Kennedy? Why, yes.

She stared off into the corner of the common room for a second or two while she thought that over.
"But they'd still lose at awesome."

"I wonder if the Danger Shop could manage that, though, creating a copy for a spar..."

And could she pick up any of that? (Probably not, Kennedy, no.) Because "Kennedy the Ninja Vampire Slayer" had a pretty cool ring to it.

"Any specific area?" she asked, tugging at her hair. "I started training with my dad once I could walk, pretty much. Formal training at the Academy starts at five. I guess I specialize in sabotage and infiltration," assassination too, "so I know a lot 'bout lying, 'bout sneaking, and 'bout making a scene or blowing stuff up."

"What sort of training did you do?" Ino asked, giving a slight shrug. "You mentioned weapons at the reserves, right?"
