Roof - Friday Late Afternoon
Rose's ass was thoroughly kicked by her second training session in the afternoon. So much so that she was pretty sure if she sat down on her bed, she'd end up asleep right up until tomorrow morning. Which would be pathetic.
The rain seemed to have stopped though so she wandered up to the roof and sat on the wall. It was totally dorky, but she even had a book with her to study. Something about that new determination plus actually having talked Dimitri into fight training had made her realise there were other parts of being a guardian she hadn't been paying attention to. So she was fixing it...even if this book was a little too focused on the threat of guns to the protectees.
The longer she was up there, the less the book was actually getting read.

Hello, Rose.
He smiled as he came onto the roof. "My day has just gotten much brighter," he said.

It had been forever since he'd seen clouds. They were rather reassuring. "Think it's going to rain syrup again?"

"Rose, hello," she waved, and Blind Seer inclined his head in a greeting of his own.

Blind Seer inclined his head at Mat in a slight nod.

This was Perrin's area of expertise, not his. He didn't want to end up with yellow eyes and a terrifying wife.

Manh, he went in greeting, before Beka had even noticed Rose was there.
"That explains why he wanted to come up here," Beka remarked.

Beka smiled at her shoes. "Modest one too," she remarked.

"Modesty's totally my best quality," Rose agreed, teasing but smugly.

It's boring inside, Pounce didn't complain, he was simply stating a fact, allowing all three of them to hear.

"He's right," Firekeeper admitted with a laugh. "Inside is often boring, even with television to entertain sometimes."

Seeing Rose up on the roof, he figured he'd at least have someone good to focus on.
"You're alive," he said mildly, already reaching into his pocket for his cigarettes. "I was getting concerned."
