5th Floor Common Room -- Sunday Evening
She'd managed to forget that there was a party going on until late enough that she'd have felt sort of weird showing up—not to mention 'bout the fact that Ino was a bit weirded out by the idea of showing up at some strange grown-up's place for a party—and so, with her Santa hat perched jauntily on her head, she'd wandered into her common room to make hot chocolate.
It was totally seasonal. And so was the candy cane she was nibbling on. The candy was obviously the best part of this holiday, especially for someone who only had the vaguely concept of what the holiday entailed beyond 'shiny presents'.
But presents? Were pretty awesome too. She leaned against the counter and sipped her hot chocolate idly.
[Because I had to use this icon today, yes! Toootally open common room!]

It'd describe more than a few of Jen's future boyfriends.

"I think so," she said modestly. "I mean, what's not to like 'bout it?"

"It does not take a great deal to be taller than me," she noted.

Though she shared poorly.
"Why didn't you get a hat? They're awesome hats."

"Mmm." Ino shrugged. "Maybe? Though the hats are cute."

Two could play the brat game.

Or not. But it was funny.

Jennifer was just laughing between sentences, now.

"Petulant?"

"Okay," she said, nodding. "Taking after their father."
