Fifth Floor Common Room [evening]

In a shocking change of pace, Sookie made her way out to the common room in the evening due to some rumblings in her own tummy, and poked through the fridge to see what she could put together.

In the end, in an actually shocking change of pace, she took the lazy girl's way out, and ordered Chinese. And since she was hungry, she ordered way, way too much food -- that was always the problem with ordering out. Everything always sounded amazing.

So, Sookie was curled up in front of the TV within moments, channel-surfing and picking at a plate of food from Ching Tai. She didn't even feel guilty about not cooking for once. Everyone was allowed a day off.

[oooopen!]

Hey, Bobby couldn't really say anything considering his own meal-preparation methods usually involved picking up the phone and dialing. Or going to a common room to see if someone had already taken care of the food issue.

Like now, for instance.

"Hey, Sookie!" he greeted with a grin. "You sharing?" he'd already picked up a carton of chicken-fried rice even as he asked. One of these days, that presumptuousness was gonna get him in trouble.

"I'd make this face at you," Bobby said, and then demonstrated his best sadface.

The fourth floor common room seemed a little too crowded, so Hoshi limped upstairs.

"I'm raiding all of your ice!" she announced as she made her way over to the freezer.

[identity profile] itsjustlanguage.livejournal.com 2010-01-11 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
"Mmmm, margaritas would be nice," said Hoshi. "But sadly, no. I had a really good match at Fight Club tonight, but I suspect I'll have bruises everywhere tomorrow."
longislandiceme: (wtf?)

"Gah!"

For some completely strange, totally unknown reason, this proclamation nearly made Bobby drop the carton of Chinese food he was currently working his way through.

[identity profile] itsjustlanguage.livejournal.com 2010-01-11 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
"Something wrong with you?" asked Hoshi, giving Bobby an odd look.

"What, no, no, nothing's wrong!" Bobby said hurriedly. "Why are you looking for ice?" he asked, a little suspiciously.

"You can't have it. We're cutting you off," Hurley joked.

[identity profile] itsjustlanguage.livejournal.com 2010-01-11 04:27 am (UTC)(link)
"Aww, come on! Surely you can spare a little bit for the mother of your future alternate universe children?"

The moment the words left Hoshi's mouth, she realized that maybe that wasn't something to joke about.

[identity profile] likes-chicken.livejournal.com 2010-01-11 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
Hurley, however, just took it in stride. "Well, I guess if you put it that way, it's okay."

[identity profile] likes-chicken.livejournal.com 2010-01-11 04:04 am (UTC)(link)
Hurley had his ham sandwich, so he left the common room with the crazy girl and wandered up to his floor.

"Whoa, hey Sookie," Hurley said, wandering in.

[identity profile] likes-chicken.livejournal.com 2010-01-11 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
"Everyone deserves some time off," Hurley said. He raised his sandwich. "Apparently I went on my expedition too soon. I woulda saved myself time if I'd just come in here at the right time."

"Hey, dude," Bobby waved at Hurley. "What's up?"

[identity profile] likes-chicken.livejournal.com 2010-01-11 04:42 am (UTC)(link)
"Not much dude," Hurley said. "I have a ham sandwich. That's my big accomplishment for the day."

One of these days, Roy was going to have to stop mooching food off people and fend for himself. Today was not that day, and, unless he got some actual money from somewhere, tomorrow wasn't looking good either. He'd figured out how it worked by now, so when he smelled Chinese, he headed for the common room with his best 'look at me I'm nice feed me' smile on his face.

"Hi, there," he said as he entered, looking hopeful.
exspeedydotcom: (heck yeah I rule)

[personal profile] exspeedydotcom 2010-01-11 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
"What gave me away?" Roy asked wryly, already reaching for a container of General Tso's chicken. "Thanks," he said, then, "Are there any chopsticks?"

Bobby was never going to be the one to tell Roy to stop mooching. Especially when he'd been the one to tell Roy how well mooching actually worked around this place.

"Hi yourself," he greeted with a wave.

[personal profile] exspeedydotcom 2010-01-11 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
Roy appreciated that a lot. "We have to stop running into each other like this," Roy joked.
