Third floor common room [dinnertime]

As Mat had mentioned a few times, Mat couldn't cook with modern technology. But roasting things over a fire?

That, he could do.

So there he was, bundled in a few layers, roasting a few rabbits over the fire and feeling more homesick than he was willing to admit.

[OOC: Mmm. Small game.]

"Woot," Dinah said, happily, and puttered around the kitchen, finding mugs and setting them out.

When she turned back around, they already had tea in them. Hot, piping tea. "Hunh. Okay. Common Room magic. Tea already done."

Dinah snickered as she brought the tea over, and asked, "Well, what? I'm not going out in the snow to milk a cow for you so you have cream. Or cleaning your room." He was a guy. It probably needed it.

"Ah! Cheeky, hunh?" Dinah laughed, surprised, kind of pleased, awkward for just a second, then leaned down to give him a kiss on the cheek. Why not, right? Why not.

"Thank you, too," Dinah said, flustered but smiling, and took her rabbite bite from him, before settling into a chair, still pink. "So, uh. How'd you catch our meal, here? Especially in this storm."

"Cool." Dinah nibbled on her bite, and settled into the chair, still smiling a little as she sipped her drink. "Arthur got me to try this last summer. I've never been hunting myself. Fishing, a few times." Ages and ages ago, on a Girl Scout trip. "At least I won't starve if the apocalypse comes. Just have to keep paying you guys with experience to feed me," Dinah teased lightly.

"How are you about hugs?" Dinah asked, turning pinker, and managing not to giggle. Fun to flirt again. Just a little.

Dinah popped the last bite of rabbit into her mouth, chewed, and swallowed. "Still hungry," she said hopefully.

"You drive a tough bargain, mister," Dinah said, getting up to shuffle over and not trip over her afghans, to give him a careful but enthusiastic hug, gigging into his ear.

Dinah took the rabbit, and sat down, smiling all over her face. "Anyone in this room?" she teased back, nibbling to make it last.

"Darn," Dinah said, snapping her fingers, then taking another bite. "So I'll have to wait and observe to get the true story. Sort of like hunting rabbits."

Dinah took another sip of her drink, smiling. "Do you get these kind of storms back where you're from?" Another, more interesting -- to her-- question occurred. "How do you guys keep your rooms warm if you don't have a fireplace in them? Mine is brrrrrr."

"Spoiled. We're spoiled," Dinah had to admit to herself, aloud. She sent Morgana's furs a wistful glance. "And not all that prepared, really." She pulled the afghans closer and nibbled on the rabbit again. "Makes me appreciate electricity more, though. And how."
