Sixth Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening [WARREN'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!]

Through some miracle of timing, Bobby had actually managed to get everything for Warren's party set up earlier before heading off to Karla's.

Now, though, it was Warren's turn. Hopefully people would still have room for even more food after a BBQ, because the amount of food two brilliant bakers plus one person with access to a very good catering service was impressive.

At least people could work all those excess calories off in the ball pit?

"You just want me to bake you an insane cake," Kate shot back, smirking. "You don't care about me."

"Kate, Kate, Kate," Bobby sighed. "You wound me. I care about you and the cake equally, of course."

"Oh wow, Bobby, I'm touched."

And laughing. Must not forget that.

"Orrrrr... it could be that I'm just confused because 'Kate' and 'cake' sound so very similar," Bobby pretended to think about it.

"I think you might be on to something there," she teased. "I don't have anything against cake, though."

"Good to know, since you still owe me one and all," Bobby grinned at her.

"Mm, not sure I owe you anything," Kate had to reply. "But I'm intrigued, so I think I'm going to make one anyway."

"Good to hear," Bobby said with a nod. "...Now I'm really glad little-me wasn't the destructive sort, or you might not feel so inclined." Really, the most he'd done was make use of the blankets off Kate's bed, which had been easy enough to straighten up on Monday.

"Yeah, I think I may have had to kill you if you'd have messed up any of my stuff."

Such an understanding and patient roomie, Kate was.

"Yeah, well, if you'd killed me I totally would've come back and haunted your ass. So there." Hey, just because he was a teenager again didn't mean he was mature.

"My ass is so fabulous it's unhauntable." Totally a word. "And ghosts don't scare me."

Some of them had raised her-- whatever the hell Bod was to her, and another one had made her coffee. So far, ghosts seemed pretty okay in her book.

If only Ghost Rider were an actual ghost. He and Bobby had been teammates and the guy still freaked Bobby out sometimes. Something about his head being on fire.

"Yeah, well, then I'll haunt your face."

"My face is even more fabulous than my ass."

So there.
