Sixth Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening [WARREN'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!]

Through some miracle of timing, Bobby had actually managed to get everything for Warren's party set up earlier before heading off to Karla's.

Now, though, it was Warren's turn. Hopefully people would still have room for even more food after a BBQ, because the amount of food two brilliant bakers plus one person with access to a very good catering service was impressive.

At least people could work all those excess calories off in the ball pit?

With a BAMF! and a puff of foul-smelling smoke, Kurt arrived in the room.

And was on a horse.

He looked down at the horse. The horse craned its neck to look back at him, and started chewing on the ribbons of the presents Kurt had brought.

With Warren being one of the first people he'd met upon arriving, Bod didn't want to his birthday. He wast still feeling a little melancholy about a few things and was dutifully trying not to let it show.

He snagged a bottle of water from the vastly filled food table and wandered quietly around the room, not quite sure what to do at a birthday. He didn't even know his, after all.

Karla, still buzzing from the excitement of her own party, was there and grinning! Like she'd miss the birthday celebration of her flying buddy and birthday twin? She was just happy that Dinah and Bobby had planned it so well.

Kate got to the party pretty much straight from Overland Park (by way of airplane and Baltimore, of course, but still). But at least she got there, right?

And she was in a fairly good mood, and ready to party like you were supposed to when it was your fake step-brother's birthday.

Alex had met Warren on one of his trips to the roof so stopping in for his birthday didn't seem like such a bad idea. He was downright pleasant today. It was kind of scary.

Tahiri had only talked to Warren once, but he seemed really nice and he'd been in Flight Club, so after Karla's party she headed back up to the dorms (the random horse had been weird, but got her there a lot faster) for his party.

Wow. Busy day.

Not a bad thing, though, she supposed; it kept her mind off people leaving.

Kennedy didn't actually know the birthday boy yet, but as one of the contributors to the scary amount of food she felt it was her duty to make sure it was, you know, properly appreciated. She just might be trying to help set an example that way, even if she'd had a good amount of food at Karla's party earlier.

She could just make it up tomorrow after her workout. It would totally be fine.

Ben wasn't generally the most social person, so two parties in a day was putting a little strain on him.

None of that showed in his eyes as he arrived on the sixth floor, though, present in hand.

He'd left the random horse by the front door.

Of course Emma was going to come by after Karla's party. It wasn't often she got to hop from party to party, like she did in New York.

Absolutely had to be here. Beyond the fact that he was her roommate, he was her friends, so she was here. Still smiling and absolutely locking away any of the exhaustion she felt at being out and about like this.

After taking some time to catch up with Fiona, Tara went up stairs to Warren's party. It was her second event of the day; she was a little mroe at ease with the mingling.

Bobby 's player only just now realized she hadn't put up a mingling thread for her own character oops was, of course, here and mingling. It wouldn't make much sense for him not to be, considering he planned the party and all.

Dru followed the crowd up from Karla's party. She knew Warren in passing from classes and she hoped he didn't mind her turning up at the party.

Sookie made the cake. Of course she was here. For her cake. Really.

And while she'd suddenly ended up on a horse somewhere between the beach and here (...don't ask), she'd managed to get rid of the sweet horsie and even change into proper clothes before making it up to the sixth floor.

Seeing there was nothing do tonight Azula followed the crowd into yet another celebration. This time of a boy she hardly knew. It was okay, she wasn't a stranger to crashing a party.

You can do that too. There's a chocolate/vanilla marble cake, brownies (but not Those Kind of Brownies, tyvm) and just about any kind of food under the sun, really.

Warren really wasn't certain what Bobby was up to when the guy had told him to meet him up on the sixth floor, no, but where Bobby was involved is wasn't as though Warren was going to question it.

... Bobby was Bobby. Either you went with it, or you risked your brains hurting.

So, when he stepped through the door into the common room (and after he'd gotten off the horse, wtf), he did seem more than a little surprised to see that there were people there. Surprised, and kinda... Warm and fuzzy.

People were awesome.
