Sixth Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening [WARREN'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!]

Through some miracle of timing, Bobby had actually managed to get everything for Warren's party set up earlier before heading off to Karla's.

Now, though, it was Warren's turn. Hopefully people would still have room for even more food after a BBQ, because the amount of food two brilliant bakers plus one person with access to a very good catering service was impressive.

At least people could work all those excess calories off in the ball pit?

[OOC: up early for slowplay, yay!]

"The horse is new," Warren said, smiling at her and putting his hands on his hips.

... Before finding himself on another horse. Oh, Fandom.

Tara easily dismounted, and her horse vanished. "It's my new look," she joked. "J-just for your birthday. Do you know how to ride?"

"Today would be the first day I've been horseback in... pretty much my entire life," Warren chuckled, shaking his head. "Pony rides when I was five don't count, do they?"

No, Warren. Probably not.

"Not so much," Tara had to agree. "I learned when I was little. But -- your horse doesn't seem unhappy, so that's good, right?"

"I certainly hope so," Warren decided. It took him a bit of effort, but finally he was back on the floor, and the horse had vanished when he looked back its way. "Because the last thing I want is to find myself on the back of an angry one."

"A horse rampage is no way to say happy birthday," Tara agreed, with a nod (and dancing eyes.) "Your poor presents."

"Won't anybody think of the presents?" He dusted himself off, hoping that he didn't look as awkward getting down from that horse as he thought he'd looked. "There are a lot of things I can tolerate, you know. Mad horses stomping my new stuff is really not one of them."

Not that there would be much he could do about it if it happened, really.

"I don't think it's in anyone's top five list," Tara observed. "Not unless people are really, really weird."
