Fifth Floor Common Room, Sunday evening

After getting back from Colorado, Bruce got some dinner from Ching Tai. Unfortunately, they gave way too much food, so he set up in the common room. If people were hungry, they could take. He could have done that and gone to his room with his food, but he figured that would prevent him from seeing how other people were reacting to the gender switch. And really, his want to be left alone was easily overruled by his curiosity.

While he was in the common room, though, he wasn't touching the TV. It would end up stuck on the Style Network or something if he did. He could deal with being a girl, but that was asking too much.

"I have boobs," Puck announced, wandering into the room. "It's awesome. I love this island."

That reaction was not too hard to peg, strangely enough. "Puck, or just somebody who's acting like him?" Quinn asked.

Because of course he should recognize her. Duh. (To be fair, the fact she'd stolen this t-shirt from Finn should help.)

Yeah, that did, but this was Puck so give him a second to connect the dots. "Quinn, you look different."

"I didn't notice," Quinn deadpanned. "I mean, I'm hot, but this still really sucks. I'm going to go insane if I don't go back to being a girl."

... not because she missed playing with her boobs all the time, Puck.

"You get to be all awesome and dude-like, though," Puck pointed out. "Come on, this is an awesome opportunity! How does it possibly suck?"

Puck saw no downsides here, at all, no.

"How does it not suck/" Quinn countered. "I have no idea how you walk around all day with these ... things. And I'm convinced I'll start thinking with my hormones anytime."

She raised an eyebrow. "Where's the opportunity come in?"

"Boobs," Puck said, pointing to his own chest. "That just came free for me today. I didn't have to buy these dinner or tell them they're pretty. They're just there. And you can like, reach things and lift heavy things and pee standing up as a dude! You can grow facial hair, Quinn. I know you've always wanted to."

"Congratulations," Bruce said. "But you might upset some people who are missing their own. Just be warned."

"Whatever, they get them for the rest of the time. And I miss peeing standing up," Puck replied easily. "It's a fair trade. Are you normally a girl? You look kinda familiar but not enough so I'm guessing you're usually a guy."

"Well reasoned," Bruce said. He actually couldn't argue much with Puck's logic. "I've been told I still kind of look like my normal male shape, so that might be it. I'm Bruce."

"Oh, dude, hi," Puck said, smiling and waving as he wandered over to steal some Chinese. "I'm Puck. Usually big, with the mohawk and all? What's up. Are you having fun being a girl?"

Puck, clearly, was.

"More fun than the girls who've gone the other way, it seems," Bruce said. He wasn't going to admit to playing with his own breasts or anything. Nope. He wouldn't admit to it.

"Apparently it's easier to go from guy to girl."

"That's what all the whining is telling me. Whatever, they should look at this as a really good opportunity for us," Puck pointed out. "Since we're girls for...however long, when we change back, we'll understand them better."

"I want mine back," George said grumpily. "They're gone. I miss them."

She wasn't, like, a boob fetishist here, but she had had boobs, and now they were gone. In what universe was that fair?

"I probably miss them too," Puck assured her. "I'm sure they're awesome when they're there. In the meantime, you can stare at mine. They're also awesome."

"I don't stare at boobs," George said. "Mine aren't anything special, I just miss them. You did say they were nice, though."

Blink.

"That just sounds skanky," she complained.

"And you're gonna have to narrow it down. I'm a fan of boobs," Puck pointed out. "I'm sure yours are very special, though. Don't ever downplay boobs! They can hear you."

"Mine can't," she said, "because they're gone. If they come back, I'll make it up to them."

She shrugged. "I'm still not a ghost," she added. That should do it.

"George!" Puck said excitedly, grinning. "You're right! You do have nice boobs. And they're special. Don't worry."

"Great," Karla bitched. "Another male with a better chest now that I do usually. I hate everything forever."

"Hey, hey, I probably don't get to keep them," Puck reassured her.

"I'll really pissy if you do," Karla informed him. "Because that probably means that we're all stuck that way and I'm not going to deal with that well."

Oh Mother Night, no. That would just be horrible.

"So, on days when you aren't female, you go by...?"

"Puck," he said with a wave. "With the big arms and the mohawk. And you are...probably some pretty blonde usually."

So, so smart.

Karla just raised an eyebrow at that. "Karla," she replied. "Blonde, skinny, lovely little bee-sting tits?"

Someone was in a Mood.

"You're going to hurt your girls' feelings with talk like that," Puck tsked.
