Fifth Floor Common Room, Sunday evening
After getting back from Colorado, Bruce got some dinner from Ching Tai. Unfortunately, they gave way too much food, so he set up in the common room. If people were hungry, they could take. He could have done that and gone to his room with his food, but he figured that would prevent him from seeing how other people were reacting to the gender switch. And really, his want to be left alone was easily overruled by his curiosity.
While he was in the common room, though, he wasn't touching the TV. It would end up stuck on the Style Network or something if he did. He could deal with being a girl, but that was asking too much.
[OOC: Open like a gender-neutral common room.]

She'd been horrified to wake up as a guy, then fascinated, then clinically amazed, but honestly. Among other things?
Permanent bed-head. Apparently.
Walking into the common room, she gave the newcomer a wary look. "Hi."

Yes, Bruce was leading with the less than astonishing deductions since he couldn't quite guess who the boy actually was yet.

And a bit of concentration, which was more difficult, as most of her thought capacity was taken up by I'm a male. This is unsupportable.
"Hey," she said, waving and trying to figure out who this was. It would take a second.

There didn't seem to be a single person to blame. That was just going to make this a challenge.

Even though the same thing had happened to her in her hotel room this morning, Karla couldn't help but be thrown at the appearance of someone she knew. And, honestly, it was a very Arthur expression: Most Displeased with Everything.
"Not Arthur," she said a moment later. Though that still didn't actually leave her with any clue who it was.

She stomped into the common room that had people in it -- none of whom she recognized, obviously. Wonderful.
"I hate this island," she announced, to no one in particular.

You can come and punch her tomorrow for getting your hopes up, George. If she answers the door, that is.

Because of course he should recognize her. Duh. (To be fair, the fact she'd stolen this t-shirt from Finn should help.)

She wasn't, like, a boob fetishist here, but she had had boobs, and now they were gone. In what universe was that fair?

Upon finding some of both, Karla discovered that her usual greeting seemed really odd coming from a male. "Kiss ki--oh bloody Hell,"

Partly.
Somewhat.
In any case, Hobbes was far too amused by the situation for Calvin to stay in his room until his breasts went away again and so he ventured into the common room.

"What is this?" he inquired, examining the cartons curiously. He'd never really had a chance to visit Montreal's Chinatown district, much less sample the cusine.

But, hey, that just meant her clothes still mostly fit.
She'd gotten nicely past the point of "HOLY CRAP I'M A BOY WITHOUT BEING A DIFFERENT PERSON" bit, and was now on the "this is entertaining and probably temporary" side and looking around for people to ogle.
"Ooo, food!"

He'd spent most of the day in his room once he'd figured out what was going on. Nursing a headache. But that wasn't the sort of thing you could keep up forever. So... common room. He could handle that for a bit, right?
