Fifth Floor Common Room, Sunday evening

After getting back from Colorado, Bruce got some dinner from Ching Tai. Unfortunately, they gave way too much food, so he set up in the common room. If people were hungry, they could take. He could have done that and gone to his room with his food, but he figured that would prevent him from seeing how other people were reacting to the gender switch. And really, his want to be left alone was easily overruled by his curiosity.

While he was in the common room, though, he wasn't touching the TV. It would end up stuck on the Style Network or something if he did. He could deal with being a girl, but that was asking too much.

Writing things? That had to be Blackagar. "This in particular? I've never seen it happen before, but that doesn't mean too much."

Medusa was male. She found it quite distressing, Blackagar wrote back, continuing to generally take this in stride.

"I can understand why," Bruce said. Then, after a moment, he asked, "Does she still have long hair?"

Because you didn't grow your hair out that long unless you were REALLY proud of it. If Ariel was as distressed about her hair as she was, he could only imagine...

Blackagar winced at that. Poor, poor Medusa only had three feet of hair in this gender.

It is shorter than she is used to. If you see her, please do not draw attention to it.

That would be rude, Bruce.

"I promise I won't," Bruce said. "I'm good at being discreet."

Since when? Everyone knows that Bruce Wayne is a party animal who gossiped all the time.

"How long is that?" Bruce ~~the gossip hound~~ asked. "Because I could say the same, but it wouldn't mean that much."

Since I was very young. She visited me when she could, Blackagar wrote back to Bruce 'TMZ' Wayne.

"And she never experimented with other looks?" Bruce asked. "Not even dying it? Admittedly, that would take hours."

Blackagar paused before slowly shaking his head.

Why would she? It is one of the most attractive of her features

"It's something some American girls tend to do as part of growing up," Bruce said.

This must never be mentioned to Medusa. Should would be horrified.

We believe that the natural differences are the best, Blackagar wrote. Because those kooky Terrigen mists had a part of it.

"I can't argue with that view," Bruce said. "There's something to be said for expressing yourself however you want, but my preference is improve myself though hard work and dedication."

Because Bruce was boring and wasn't allowed in the Marvel Universe.

Well... maybe 616-1. But no one wanted to go there.

I certainly hope it's only for a brief period of time.

"I'm guessing everything will be normal tomorrow. That seems to be the way these things go."

Blackagar seemed to sigh in relief. Without, you know, actually sighing. The look on his face said everything about how much he hoped that would be the case.

"I think most people would agree with you there," Bruce said.
