Fifth Floor Common Room, Sunday evening

After getting back from Colorado, Bruce got some dinner from Ching Tai. Unfortunately, they gave way too much food, so he set up in the common room. If people were hungry, they could take. He could have done that and gone to his room with his food, but he figured that would prevent him from seeing how other people were reacting to the gender switch. And really, his want to be left alone was easily overruled by his curiosity.

While he was in the common room, though, he wasn't touching the TV. It would end up stuck on the Style Network or something if he did. He could deal with being a girl, but that was asking too much.

[OOC: Open like a gender-neutral common room.]

"Well, yeah, I miss everything, but the face is kind of important," Quinn answered. She noticed Karla sounded a little like she thought this Arthur was an asshole.

"And that's me," she agreed wearily. She was used to being a little more important to parties than wine cooler girl. "And I think if anything ever called for a drink, tonight does."

Poor Quinn. It didn't matter where people came from--moving to Fandom was quite the adjustment for everyone.

"Truer words have never been spoken," Karla agreed, rubbing her temples. "Mother Night, I might have to make a trip to Caritas to top off my own supply."

Wine coolers weren't going to cut it tonight. Especially if being a male ramped up her metabolism even further.

"If you go again tomorrow night and this isn't over by then, I'll join you," Quinn promised. Not that she knew Karla that well, but she needed drinking buddies.

"It shouldn't last that long," Karla assured Quinn. She was so getting punched in the face tomorrow. "Last time, it wore off by the next morning. So as long as we can last till the morning, we should be fine."

If it didn't wear off by tomorrow, Karla would be parked in Caritas from the moment it opened.

"I'll count the minutes," Quinn promised, in relief. "I mean, if I spend most of the rest of the time sleeping, how bad can this get?"

"Last year, I threw a giant party the next day," Karla said with a smile. "The pinkest, girliest party ever. Just in celebration of not being a male anymore."
