Halloween Mixer - 6th Floor, Monday After Classes

When people arrived for the party, the sixth floor was decked out with what appeared to be half of a party store. Like Halloween got sick all over the place. With glitter. You couldn't have Halloween without an inordinate amount of glitter, right? It was high school, this was a law.

If you ignored that, the rest of the place was set up for people to be able to hang out and get to know each other. Or continue to know each other.

Whichever worked for the guests.

"I don't know what I'd carve besides some weird looking face," Billy said, only squealing internally a little at seeing Tony. Maybe he'd be able to act normal eventually at this rate. "Did you carve one?"

Oh, sure, just give Billy a reason to stare more. God, Tony. "Oh, no, I wouldn't want to ruin that costume either. You did a good job with it."

"I went as this last year," Tony admitted. "My friend from back home was Power Man. We've kinda seen all of their movies."

Billy laughed, trying to sneak a glance at Ben without being obvious about it. "I don't think anything edible makes for a good costume. You're just sending the wrong message that way."

"Yeah," Billy said, adjusting his eyepatch. "I didn't start putting it together in time to do anything elaborate, and pirates are cool." At least, they were to him. He wasn't sure what people who were actually cool would think.

He was talking to the nerdiest version of Tony Stark out there, so he was safe there. For now.

"Next year we could do a costume thing before the party," Tony suggested.
