6th Floor Common Room, Saturday evening

The sixth floor common room was all done up for a party. Really all that meant was that there was pizza, chips, and drinks (including some that seemed to be mysteriously unlabeled for anyone who might want to drink something that IS TOTALLY FINE AND YOU CAN'T PROVE OTHERWISE in the dorms). There was also a small American flag over by the TV to indicate that what this weekend was really about wasn't completely forgotten, especially considering Jessica's recent military experiences.

But those experiences were even more reason for her to relax, play some music on the radio, and hope that nobody stabbed anybody this time.

[OOC: This is the party with the I Never game that leads to Not-So-Final Destination Week. If you'd like to participate in that, please at least establish yourself in the game and maybe throw out some prompts!

Everyone in the dorms is invited via fliers from earlier this week.]

"Sia! I'm glad you came. You're my backup in case anyone tries to get a little enh-enh-enh," Jessica said while making stabby motions.

Hopefully Sia picked up on what that meant.

She understood the gesture, but Jessica was getting a Look for that enh-enh-enh thing. "I'm sure no one will be trying that tonight," she said.

"I know. It was mostly just dark humor," Jessica said. "But I'm still keeping an eye open."

That was probably another joke. Probably.

"I know people who don't share that perspective," Jessica said. "Or any perspective, really, because their depth perception is horrible."

"If I see anyone walk into a wall, I'll assume they're one of those people," Sia decided.

Unless it was the end of the party and they were drunk.

"It's either that, or they've done a lot of things that we say during I Never..." Jessica mused. Because then they would be drunk, just like Sia's narrative suggested.

"I figure it's a good default to get things going in a bit. It's simple, it could be funny, and if anyone gets embarrassed, at least they also have something to drink away their woes," Jessica said.

"I have nothing to be embarrassed about, so that's everyone else's problem," Sia said, which meant she was good with this game.
